Crema's Take

Ost Cafe feels less like a coffee shop and more like a living room where neighbors happen to gather—the kind of place where staff remember your name and regulars strike up conversations over excellent espresso. Beyond the consistently fresh pastries and skillfully pulled drinks, what truly sets it apart is how genuinely welcoming it is, whether you're camping out for hours with your laptop, bringing your dog along, or just seeking refuge from Manhattan's intensity. It's the rare specialty coffee spot that manages to be both serious about its craft and utterly unpretentious about it.

Lovely place that’s far from the hustle, I really enjoyed the customers there as much as the staff, everyone is friendly and chatty and it’s a perfect place to send a weekend morning

This is one of the most welcoming and relaxed cafes in the city. The coffee is excellent, and the pastries are made fresh daily. What I think really makes Ost special though is the friendly staff, the sense of community, the calming atmosphere and the endless parade of dogs that come through on a daily basis. Grab a cup of coffee and sit out front on a nice day, you won't regret it.

It's the perfect Cafe to enjoy a latte, cappuccino, or beverage of your choice along with a variety of delicious pastries. I've enjoyed their chocolate crescent, chocolate almond crescent and ham and cheese crescent, all delicious with a cup of coffee. The atmosphere is chill with a fun Playlist in the background. This is my Saturday go to spot for a delicious light breakfast and a little me time.

A nice neighborhood nook for those looking to get some work done for a few hours. The setting is like a living room, with benches, chairs, a high top and tables to work from or share in conversation. I like that one could take a meeting from here if needed as there is enough room to hav private conversations and the music is not too loud. Speaking of music, def enjoyed the jazz being played. Space gets a lot of light. I did notice there seemed to be a lack of outlets so bring the computer fully charged or your phone. The coffee was solid and tasty, no fancy design but that’s chill. The food was good and flavorful.

Great little place out in south of Manhattan. Very dog friendly and most people don’t mind sharing a table. The baristas are very knowledgeable and affable and talked with me about television. It’s also warm inside and they let you use the bathroom if you get coffee.
