Crema's Take

The breakfast game here is genuinely hit-or-miss, with some regulars raving about the chorizo-loaded burritos and breakfast croissants while others have run into stale pastries and flavor-challenged breakfast pizzas. Your best bet is sticking to the savory breakfast items and fresh-baked goods ordered early, and taking full advantage of the generous outdoor seating to linger over your coffee. It's a solid neighborhood spot for a casual breakfast meeting if you're not expecting consistent excellence across the menu.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

Breakfast pizza was terrible and not at all as the menu shows it. Wife got the mozz and spinach and it was flavorless. Tasted like boboli crust. I got sausage and Serrano and it was unbearably spicy (and I like spicy food). $14 for avocado toast. Would not come back.

The food is amazing. I got a breakfast croissant with bacon and chorizo. My wife got the Chilaquiles. Both were phenomenal! Service was fantastic. Can’t wait for the sweets after breakfast.

The little cheesecake was good but the top part and the strawberry kinda tasted like freezer burn. I usually can tell when it’s fresh or frozen and I’m pretty sure it was frozen and defrosted. When we got there the table we sat at wasn’t clean and we had to ask for it to be…

I came here on a Monday afternoon. I ordered the quesabirria, goat cheese & spinach quiche, cheesecake, and lemon merengue tart. All of the baked goods were much much too old, stale and so dry. Huge bummer cause I can tell they're good when fresh. Huge regret on those. The total…
