Crema's Take
“Tucked away in Traverse City, this cozy cottage-style spot has earned a loyal following for its generous breakfast and comfort food that keeps people coming back for years, paired with genuinely warm service that makes both locals and travelers feel at home. The portions are hearty, the pastries are noteworthy, and the cherry lemonade is refreshingly memorable—it's the kind of place where you can linger over coffee and conversation without feeling rushed. While service can occasionally be inconsistent, the overall charm and quality of the food make it a reliable neighborhood gathering spot worth the drive.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

The atmosphere here does have a homey feel to it. I just wished it had more matched it's name and have a cottagey feel to it. That being picky though, the place feels welcoming and is brightly lit and feels well cared for. I ordered the Pot Roast ($20). It's described as slow…
Nice place, great staff and good food. I had the cheeseburger soup and fried chicken dinner. The soup was ok, but not great. The fried chicken was nice and crisp. My wifd had the Perch Reuben and the fish was great. Maybe a bit heavy on the cole slaw in the sandwich. Our…
Our first time in TC and our first time here. I would make a trip back just for this food! The banana bread French toast was the best thing ever! Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was great.
Service was fast and great. Food showed up fast which was awesome because my kids were hungry(whatever). The food was very good.
I’ve been driving past here for years and finally got around to trying it. A meaningful of comfort foods? Just amazing. Had the country fried steak and it was great. The staff all seemed very cheerful and my service was on it. I’ll be back.
My boyfriend and I are traveling. We were not greeted when entered and then when spotted the host walked away and when he came back and stood there we had to go up to him and asked to be seated. The food was OK had no flavor (what were used to) waitress was very sweet tho
