Crema's Take

Dryhootch Coffeehouse is a veteran-owned gem on Brady Street that pairs excellent, affordably-priced coffee and chai with a genuine mission to support the local veteran community—you'll feel the warmth the moment you walk in, thanks to genuinely welcoming staff who treat every customer like family. Beyond the reliably good traditional drinks and cold brew, they've created a true gathering space with pastries, matcha tea, and even a curated selection of military apparel, making it feel less like a coffee shop pit stop and more like a home away from home for both locals and travelers passing through Milwaukee.

Dryhootch Coffee House is a great place, and they offer a high variety of services to veterans in the community! This is a very impressive coffee house that is community-driven and accommodates to a very active social setting because the coffee house is a communial hub for residents and local vets, clashing together in the early morning hours over comradery and coffee. Seating is available inside and outside, and the patio is a great way to interact, directly with the city and incoming guest. I can't wait to see more of Dryhootch Coffee House as they are a real pleasure to have in my community, and they are so eager and motivated to get involved in the community! I highly recommend this place, and this coffee house should definitely be a top-favorite place to begin your morning routine! Lots of friendly faces and conversations going on, this coffee house is great for the community!

Stopped in to grab coffee as tourists on Brady Street, and we really liked the mission of Dryhootch of supporting veterans. Coffee was priced better than anywhere else we tried in Milwaukee, and the to-go cups were double-walled/insulated, which was really cool and something I haven't seen anywhere else. Coffee was hot but didn't burn my hands at all to hold the cup, and no sleeve to worry about sliding around. Space felt like it would be very good for community. If we were to visit Milwaukee again, we would definitely go back.

Home away from home! Good coffee & chai plus delicious muffins. They have both hot & cold selections. Also has a selection of clothing & military items for sale too. Decent priced as well as for a good cause.

when I travel on the road of life, I am always searching for a unique and memorable stopped to get a cup of the Blessed Elixir. I was beyond delighted to find out that this coffee shop supports the heroes that we have in our country. They help the veterans, and have a stated purpose of helping them to reintegrate and plug into society again after serving. They have Outreach for veterans, and various helps associated with the shop. The staff was extremely friendly, and the coffee was good.
