Crema's Take

Drip Studio is a chic downtown Honolulu spot where baristas like Kengi and Maddy treat you like an old friend while crafting meticulous pour overs and espresso drinks with beans from quality roasters like DAK Coffee. The warm, cozy atmosphere makes it equally perfect for lingering over a mocha special or meeting a friend, and their light food and pastries round out an experience that feels both polished and genuinely welcoming.

This is my favorite coffee spot! The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I’m usually a latte person, but if you’re visiting Drip Studio HNL Specialty Coffee, you absolutely have to try their mocha specials. They’re crafted with high-quality coffee beans and locally made chocolate, and you can truly taste the difference.

Drip Studio HBL is a neat little spot to grab a coffee if you are in the area. The shop has a good vibe and the baristas were very nice and welcoming, which made the visit pleasant. I tried the Cold Fashioned, and while it was perfectly fine, there wasn't anything too special about it compared to other specialty cafes in the neighborhood. It’s a solid cup of coffee, but it didn't necessarily stand out as a unique must try. Overall, it is a great neighborhood cafe, but there isn't really anything crazy that would make you go far out of your way just to try it. If you're nearby and looking for a quality caffeine fix, it’s definitely worth a stop!

If your in Hawaii in Oahu and looking for phenomenal coffee and ambiance Drip Studio is the place for pour over and espresso drinks. Food looks amazing as well. Kengi & Maddy are amazing they treated us with great hospitality and we enjoyed chatting with them about all the different coffees.

Service - 5 stars Maddie was knowledgeable and friendly. Thank you! Pourover - Plum Marmalade DAK Coffee Roasters - 4.75 stars Honduras Catual | NATURAL Ripe Plum & Dark Berry I'm not a fan of black coffee usually (though I usually try my husband's) and this is one of the best I've had. It was full-bodied and plummy. Cappuccino - 3.75 stars Med-dark roast from solid coffee roasters. I personally prefer light and funky roasts but this has good texture.

A specialty cafe that is new and chic in the rough downtown location. The coffee is superb, professional, & priced well. Their coffee machine & equipment look sparkling & brand new with the interior decor still coming along. A few tables and small bar seating allow people to enjoy the coffee inside & it gives off a dive-bar feeling. Good vibes inside but the vibe outside contrast. I don’t go out in downtown often, so imo they’d seem to benefit at a better location, especially if customers want to sit and enjoy a specialty coffee for a longer duration of time. Top espressos in downtown 🤙🏼
