Clover and Mug (Kona Inn Shopping Village)

The server girl is so rude and impatient. She literally yelled at the one Asian couple customer before me. She yelled “one second” very loud to the couple who was about to make order. We customers are here to spend money. The server made me feel like I owed her money. It makes me really uncomfortable. Food and view was great, we ordered a coffee, ube waffle and bogogi panini. But the entire experience was very disappointing. Do not recommend.

- Coffee is great. We had a Ube Cream with cold brewed coffee. - Food is also good. I had a croffle with smoked salmon. It tastes salty (salmon) and sweet (the bread made by croissant dough in a waffle form), which is not my personal favorite. My friend had a panini with bulgogi (flavored beef + cheese). It tastes better. - View is great on the other side of the cáfe. You can enjoy your meal there with a view of the seaside.

I really enjoyed coming to this small joint, they have delicious drinks you can never go wrong with any of the options they have. They do get pretty busy in the morning so just keep in mind of the wait.

Really enjoyed the coffee and matcha here. Ordered a matcha latte (pictured) and dalgona latte (not pictured). Both had balanced, smooth flavors and weren't too sweet. Also got the bulgolgi panini. It was good but messy to eat cause the meat crumbled a bit too much.

Grabbing a cup of Ube coffee from clover and mug then sit by the sea to enjoy our breakfast has been one of our favorite food experiences at the big island. Bulgogi panini is well seasoned and we came back again for it for take out another morning. Parking is pretty limited although there’s a few loading zone spots that works perfect for ordering take outs
