Croissant-Brioche

Crema's Take
“This charming French café in Houston nails the European sidewalk experience with its newspaper-covered tables and genuine old-world warmth, where every element—from the espresso to the fresh-baked baguettes—tastes like it's made with real care. The pastries and cakes are the stars here, but locals keep coming back equally for the perfectly executed flat whites and generous cappuccinos paired with savory broccoli quiches and sandwiches on their own crusty bread. It's the kind of place where the baristas remember your name and the atmosphere invites you to linger over a slow morning or catch up with friends.”

This place has amazing pastries and very good coffee. I absolutely love their cakes—oh my God, everything is so delicious. You can really taste the quality and care in every bite. The food is wonderful as well, and everything feels fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere makes you feel like you’re in a little corner of France right in Houston. It’s charming, cozy, and perfect for relaxing with coffee and something sweet. I always enjoy coming here, and it’s definitely one of my favorite spots for pastries, coffee, and a lovely experience.
Stopped in for a flat white and ended up trying the broccoli quiche. It’s the cutest little spot, with newspaper on the tables, wooden chairs, French feel. Food was tasty, coffee was hot and atmosphere was great.
After multiple visits to Croissant Brioche It's time for my review. The service is always good. The atmosphere is delightful. The sandwiches 🥪 and dessert 😋 are amazing. The french 🥖 baguette is absolutely delicious. At 10 am to be in a waiting line of 6 customers deep doesn't surprise me. The freshness and quality ingredients that they use in preparing foods comes through in every bite and sip. Try a cream puff! Update: I've made it back to the Houston area after five years. I drove 12 miles from where I'm staying to visit one of my favorite spots, but was disappointed that I couldn't get my favorite cream puff. I had an eclair and a latte, and both were great. Unfortunately, the customer service has gone downhill. I've never felt so rushed or been treated so poorly. The employee was pushy and rude. Good riddance.
Great French café with great food and an authentic old-world atmosphere. Feels just like sitting on a sidewalk in Europe. The coffee and sandwiches, made with fresh-baked bread, are excellent. The French onion soup tasted homemade, and the quiche was baked to perfection. On my first visit, I heard five different languages being spoken—it truly feels like a little slice of Europe. I’ve been coming back ever since.
Delicious! The people who work here are so nice, they made me morning! Also, the size of their large cappuccino is really generous, but more importantly the coffee is really delicious! I also got the baked bread and pastries to go, and they were so nice to offer to keep the pastries in the fridge for me while I was having cuppa coffee there. This is European experience and hospitality for me. Definitely gonna come back. Thank you guys!!
