Sunbelt Kava

We were visiting Ft. Lauderdale for a few days and stumbled upon this spot our first day after some time at the beach right across the street. This place is AWESOME!! They officially opened in 2025 and just celebrated their one year anniversary!! Luke (the owner), Alex, and Thaylin brought incredible hospitality & kindness during our sojourn to Sunbelt Kava that we had to come back for a second time before we left. Their Kava and Kratom sodas come in three sizes. The most notable part of Sunbelt Kava Co is that all of their juices and mixers they use are of the highest quality - natural, free of artificial ingredients, and fresh. When we stopped by it was the week between Christmas and New Years and the specialty flavors like peppermint sugar cookie and peppermint mocha kava were super delicious. We also had a kratom soda with strawberry lemonade and the flavors are super on point. Pro tip: also grab a bag of Zapp’s potato chips to go with your kava for a great complimentary flavor. The jalapeño flavor was my fav. Sunbelt Kava Co is clean, inviting, ambient, and social, and relaxing. A DJ even played some tunes for a bit while the vibe was turning to night. What makes this place special more than anything though is the PEOPLE. The entire staff and crew are A1 and make you want to come back time and time again with how inviting they are. If you’re looking for an alcohol-free place to hang and still socialize or even do some work during the day - Sunbelt Kava Co is your spot.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sunbelt Kava deserves all five stars. This is my third place, my daily escape, the spot I hang out at more than anywhere else. It’s literally my waiting room for life — where I reset, think, decompress, and wait for the next chapter to unfold. The energy here is unmatched: calm but alive, social but never overwhelming. The staff actually care, the regulars feel like family, and the drinks hit exactly how they’re supposed to. If you want a place that feels like home without being home, this is it. I’m here every day for a reason. Sunbelt Kava forever.

Sunbelt Kava Co is such a gem in Fort Lauderdale. The space has a super chill vibe, and the drinks are always on point, but what really makes it special are the people behind the bar. Thaylin, Bunny, Alex, and Luke are honestly some of the best kavatenders around — they’re friendly, welcoming, and always make you feel right at home. Whether you’re new to kava or a regular, they take the time to make sure you have a great experience. Every visit feels like hanging out with friends. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxed, positive place to unwind.

Thank you much Mika and Thay for an amazing night❤️ I had never tried kava before, but after checking out this place from the outside, I decided to step in. Alex, my kava tender, took the time to explain the different types of teas and made me feel really welcome. Shoutout to him. His great customer service made it easy to stick around and connect with others at the bar. Since then, I’ve been coming almost every week. The entire staff is amazing and genuinely friendly, from Alex of course to Thaylin, Mika and Bunny. If you’ve never tried kava before, do yourself a favor and come check this place out!

This is very unique place in the town. There is no place I can compare with. They have very special drinks. I don’t know how to explain as a Chef because I say it’s a special you have to try makes you come and happy inside of the place is amazing design. there is pool you can play Stuff is very friendly and had good energy. I will highly recommend it.
