Sakana Poke & Soirée
570 E Benson Blvd, Anchorage, AK
Crema's Take
“Sakana Poke & Soirée is a rare find in Anchorage that seamlessly blends elevated poke bowls with an unexpectedly impressive specialty drink menu—think lavender matcha and Malaysian milk tea crafted with real care. The upstairs seating feels genuinely refreshing and thoughtfully designed, creating the kind of welcoming, cozy atmosphere that makes it equally suited for a focused work session or lingering with friends over creative cocktails. Regulars rave about the latte and the consistently excellent execution across both food and drinks, though be prepared for premium pricing that reflects the quality and experience.”

The food was amazing and made very quickly! I got the Gyudon bowl with some extra sauces and toppings. I also tried the lavender matcha and Malaysian milk tea. Both were so good! We will be coming back here whenever we come to Anchorage.
This place is very cozy, and had a welcoming vibe. I popped in because a friend recommended this place for their drink menu. They were right, the menu had lots of great options, and the woman at the counter helped me with making a great recommendation. I love that they came in compostable cups. My only complaint is that next time I will bring a shaker cup in, as the way the drink was made I could not get it to mix with the compostable straw. The woman at the counter took it back and stired it for me! Thank you!
9 orders/4 visits. Consistently excellent bowls and specialty drinks. Second floor seating is refreshing and feels good (rare). But i am posting because the latte is my new favorite in Anchorage. Tough crown to earn but deserved.
Food was great, and place is amazing! I’ve always wished for a cafe like this in Anchorage, somewhere with a great vibe where I could study or get some work done. This place is exactly that. The upstairs space is really aesthetic and clean. Staffs were really friendly, especially Carson. This is my favorite place in town!
Beautiful space, lots of options, and friendly service. However, the prices are somewhat out of hand. Like, why is it $1+ extra for green onion? A custom bowl ran us $30+! Overall the food was tasty and fresh, complimented by the ambiance of the clean space and music. If the prices weren’t so high I’d be sure to come back.
