Yello Waffle

Stopped in to treat a friend and loved the waffles I got the waffle that had arugula avocado and egg it was delicious! I appreciated the portion size! Enough but not too much! My son also loved playing with the toys! My latte was great as well! Good quality ingredients which is very important to me!

Our first time here and we’ll be back often! Had the egg and bacon waffle, which was great. Perfectly-cooked bacon and it actually looks like their photos. Next time I’ll order two, since the bistro waffles come on the smaller round waffle. Eager to try the rectangular waffle in the future. Also, the brewed coffee was surprisingly good. Not weak and not burnt.

Yello Waffle in Okemos, Michigan is a gem, especially if you appreciate waffles the way they’re meant to be done. I lived in Brussels for a couple of years, and one of the absolute highlights of that time was grabbing Liège waffles from street trucks—warm, caramelized, rich, and unforgettable. Yello Waffle’s Liège waffle comes impressively close to that experience. It’s flavorful, perfectly textured, and clearly made with care. If you’ve never had a true Belgian-style waffle, this is about as authentic as it gets without hopping on a plane. Their Brussels waffle is also excellent, it’s light, airy, and balanced, making it easy to see that they really understand the difference between the two styles and execute both well. Beyond the food, the morning vibe is fantastic. It feels like a relaxed, cozy coffee shop where you actually want to sit, enjoy your breakfast, and ease into the day. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall warmth of the place. All around, Yello Waffle is a great breakfast spot and an especially nice way to start a slow Sunday morning. Quality food, good energy, and a place that genuinely feels good to be in.

I've been to Yello Waffle twice, the waffles are REALLY good. The eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly and the matcha ice cream is fantastic! Owner always makes sure customers are happy and comes out to talk. Definitely try a Brussels waffle in house! Update: if you get the eggs and bacon I highly recommend the upgrade to cook in chili oil for a nice spicy note! Love the expanding options at this growing business!

Very chill atmosphere, delicious waffles. We tried the fruit and cream and the chocolate stick, incredible!! So delicious. Easily a new favorite❤️
