Crema's Take
“Tucked in River North, this welcoming cafe strikes a beautiful balance between serious coffee craft and leisurely hangout vibes, with thoughtfully balanced lattes and creative specialty drinks that never veer toward over-sweetness. Beyond the espresso bar, you'll find a genuinely impressive spread of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired pastries and desserts—think pistachio cheesecake and tiramisu—plus matcha and other creative beverages, making it equally appealing whether you're there for a quick caffeine fix or a long afternoon of work and conversation. The spacious, relaxed interior and friendly staff create that rare cafe atmosphere where you feel equally comfortable pulling up for 20 minutes or settling in for hours.”

OUD Cafe is a wonderful spot. I ordered an iced OUD latte, and it was delicious — not overly sweet and very well balanced. They also have a great variety of desserts, and everything I tried was excellent. The staff member with blue hair was especially kind and provided outstanding service. The only downside was that the seating area in the back had a slight sewer-like smell. The restroom was very clean, so it seems to be related to the building rather than cleanliness. It wasn’t very strong, and I didn’t notice it at all near the entrance seating. Because of this, I’m giving 4 stars, but otherwise it’s a fantastic cafe and I would definitely come back.
Oud Cafe is an amazing spot,The vibe is really good and the ambience is nice and relaxing. The coffee was great, and I also tried their lemonade — it was so good and super refreshing. Perfect place to chill, meet up with friends, or just enjoy a quality drink.
Visited the cafe and ordered a Hot Chocolate and Tiramisu Cake. The cake was too soft and wet. The hot chocolate was okay, though the cream had a slightly tangy taste. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was a bit noisy, but it’s still comfortable enough to chat.
Great coffee shop in River North with a huge menu — flavored lattes, matcha, smoothies, and a big pastry display. The dessert case is packed with options like pistachio cheesecake, tiramisu cake, stuffed dates, lemon loaf, scones, and Middle Eastern–inspired pastries. I ordered the pistachio latte and an iced Americano. Prices are slightly high, but the shop has plenty of seating and it’s tucked on a quiet block of River North, which makes it perfect for working, meeting friends, or a slow morning coffee. I arrived at 9:45 a.m. on a Sunday and it was empty, but by 10:30 a.m. it was filling up fast so it’s ideal if you want a calmer, early-morning spot. Great drinks, lots of space, amazing pastry selection, and a relaxing vibe in a busy neighborhood.
Solid spot with great middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors. Coffee was solid and the food was solid and well portioned. Interior is a bit larger than it looks from the outside with a good amount of seating.
