Jiamo Kitchen

Crema's Take
“Tucked inside the Dayou food court, this spot serves up authentic Chinese street food with genuine warmth, where friendly owners either deliver your jiamo to your table or call out your number with genuine care. Their signature Chinese burger—traditionally made with juicy, five-spice seasoned pork nestled between soft bread and topped with crisp raw onions—is the real draw, though the hearty noodle soups and filling combos keep people coming back. It's the kind of unpretentious gem where quality ingredients and owner hospitality transform a quick lunch into something memorable.”

We just discovered this cute little gem at Dayou food court and we will definitely come back again soon! The combos are tasty and filling. We had Combo B and Combo C. The jiamo has raw onions that pair perfect with the fatty savory beef brisket and the baos were fluffy and tasty. The staff were super sweet and attentive, and offered us a sample of some of their freshly prepared brisket with the housemade laojiao.
The owners are friendly. They will either take your food to your table or call out "JiaMo number.." after you order at the counter. JiaMo is a Chinese Burger that's traditionally made with pork. Steamed buns are big dumplings, also traditionally made with pork. Those are the highlights of the JiaMo Kitchen. My friends said the hot noodle soup was good too. The cold noodle was not the consistency that I am used to. I would recommend the pork JiaMo (burger) and the steamed buns. They are best eaten right the way.
The food is phenomenal. The Jiamo sandwhich was very tasty. The pork in Chinese 5 spice was delicious. The broth of the spicy beef noodle soup was savory and decadent. The portion was rather large. I would purchase again. I loved the mom and pop shop feel. the owners were very nice.
Their food in the menu looks attractive, but the food that we got tasted mediocre. We got the combo B with a beef Chinese burger and a beef noodle. The Chinese burger was not juicy and the wrap was not crispy enough. The beef noodle was great with decent noodle and beef. The price was a little high and the size was fine. I was expecting the cold noodle but it was out of stock.
I ordered Combo A. The pork between bread was juicy, yummy and ample; not to mention the delicious onion that not only adds to the flavor but also makes the food healthy! I treated the Pork Jiamo as a luxurious appetizer. The beef noodles were spicy and delicious, with sufficient beef, veggies and an egg in the bowl…a very well-rounded meal. For food like this, this price is extremely reasonable; not to mention this combo also includes a drink. I just went there and I’m already missing the place 😔
