My husband and I travel a lot and we love to visit coffee shops. This one, by far, is one of our favorites. The owner, Bridget, was so kind! And she really knows how to make a delicious coffee. Day one I had a cortado, day two was a mocha. Both were *perfect* If you have the chance, you should stop by. Stay awhile. Check out the beautiful jewelry she makes and peak into the back where the motor cycles are. Can’t wait to come back again!
The Hideout is a unique, eclectic coffee shop on a quirky and historic stretch of Broadway in Boise. Open Wed-Fri (9-4) and Sat (10-4). Highly recommended. Owned and run by Brigette Nelson, local artist. Healthy offerings (no dairy), including oat milk, hemp milk, and natural sweeteners for coffee. Heads up: if you must have an artificial sweetener (stevia, etc.), bring a packet or two with you. There's comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Great place to hang out and socialize, or just grab a coffee and/or pastry and go. Browse Brigette's art for sale at the front while you're here (handmade jewelry, etched glassware, and more). Bonus: check out partner Brandon's connecting ubercool motorcycle shop in the back.
Hideout is far and away the best vibe of any coffee shop in Boise. Everything is either hand made or vintage, they have cool chopper magazines for you to look at, and Brigette makes great coffee and lattes. Their hours are a bit unusual but it’s worth planning for and coming in and spending some time here on your day off. Definitely make this place a part of your routine
Hideout is a fancy and unique coffee shop in southeast Boise, the vibe inside is cozy and very stylish with a good combination of hipsterish and punkish decors. The barista/owner is very friendly and welcoming and offers good quality drinks. There is also a small Harley workshop in the back which you can check for fun. Definitely worth paying a visit and grab a drink when you are in this area.
Really good beans! Super friendly barista. Lovely ambiance and wonderfully, quiet space. I was lucky to be the only customer at the odd time of my visit, and so enjoyed having the quiet space all to myself. Parking was also easy since the shops weren’t all open yet. Highly recommend if you’re looking for some privacy and good coffee. I have the sesame milk a try but am not nuts about it. I’ll stick to oat in the future but that’s just my preference.
