Crema's Take

This vintage-soaked neighborhood anchor has built a devoted 15-year following on the strength of Colombe coffee and baristas who can pull genuinely excellent shots when they're on—though consistency seems to be the real wildcard here. The vibe is pure 90s Brooklyn with kitschy art and a "Cheers"-like regulars scene, making it ideal for lingering over breakfast pastries and matcha lattes with friends rather than grabbing a rushed coffee. Fair warning: you might get a paper cup without being asked, and some visits yield disappointing over-extracted espresso, so this works best if you're becoming a regular rather than stopping by once.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, matcha and tea options too. A slow-sit, quick-grab, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Parking available.

The coffee is decent and had a slice of the lemon poppy seed cake which was moist but lacked a bit of flavor. I was hoping to have my coffee in a proper cup rather than a paper one, but I wasn’t asked whether it was to stay or to go.

No latte art. The espresso tasted over extracted. Very bitter and disappointing. The ratio for the latte was off and half of the cup was foam.

My friends recommended coffee here, it was so good. But I am satisfied with Matcha latte. Is was good.

This has been my local caffeine fix for almost 15 years, and like in ‘Cheers’ everyone knows your name. Slammin’ Colombe coffee, vintage 90s decor (Steve Keene, garage sale kitsch 👍🏻), pastries from Colson Patisserie and sandwiches made here, big backyard and a musician owner…

Such a hidden gem in Brooklyn! I stopped in for a quick caffeine fix and ended up with one of the best lattes I’ve ever had—shoutout to Jaden for absolutely nailing it. Super friendly and clearly knows her coffee game. The latte was creamy, flavorful, and just hit the spot! …
