Crema's Take

Rochambo Coffee & Tea House is a two-story Milwaukee gem where the matcha lattes and creative signature drinks like "Grace" and "Faith" lattes are genuinely exceptional, backed by consistently kind baristas who clearly care about their craft. The upstairs vibe draws regulars and newcomers alike who want to linger over excellent espresso-focused drinks or their standout hot chocolate in a quirky, neighborhood-cafe atmosphere perfect for genuine conversations and laptop sessions. With nearly 850 five-star reviews praising both the drinks and the welcoming energy, this is a place that feels less like a chain stop and more like where the community actually gathers.

Possibly the best Matcha latte I've ever had!! We just moved into town and we're exploring the area and came across Rochambo, and my husband and I were so pleased with the service and drinks! I think we arrived a bit late for any food, but we'll try some next time! Thanks so much

Really kind baristas, yummy drinks, and lovely sitting area. Two floors, second is definitely a vibe so check it out. My personal favorite is the hot chocolate :)

Pretty much the only place I get coffee. I usually get their specialty lattes (grace or faith) or a matcha latte, both are excellent. There’s a lot more on the menu as well though. The staff is always super friendly when I come in, especially one guy I’m not sure his name but he is always radiating good energy. Additionally it’s a great study spot with upstairs seating, and the atmosphere is great with chill music and lots of cool artwork and color all around.

as a regular patron of rochambo (during and post brian-era), i was shocked to a poor review by Americanninja100 that claimed one of the employees, in their words, demonstrates "parasitic behavior of a bully." this assertion is objectively untrue. the barista in question is an absolute rock star who is capable of remaining a positive and charming attitude with each and every customer, even in the midst of a busy rush. she, and all the other baristas at rochambo, are the reason i enjoy my time there so much. if this "American ninja" truly had an issue with this barista, the first thing they should have done is talked to them directly. after all, as adults, the first step to solving a conflict is confronting it directly and calmly. however, they chose to write a bitter and cruel review about someone that is truly loved and appreciated by so many people. if anyone is demonstrating the parasitic behavior of a bully, it is you, Americanninja100. i highly recommend rochambo for anyone that enjoys an inclusive and friendly environment! not only will you enjoy their drinks, but you will be welcomed with a smile and grace by any barista that may behind the bar when you walk in.

Good coffee and tea in a quirky environment. This is a not the place for you to bring the kids while you’re shopping for school supplies. This is a neighborhood cafe with earnest conversations in artfully graffitied environs.
