Woodland Baking and Coffee
394 Mountain Rd, Stowe, VT
Crema's Take
“Woodland Baking and Coffee is a quiet, unassuming gem in Stowe that rewards the curious with genuinely excellent house-made pastries—those oat-chocolate chip cookies and sweet potato breakfast bars are the real stars here. The space itself is peaceful and laptop-friendly, perfect for settling in, though the coffee and service can be inconsistent depending on when you visit. If you're coming for the baked goods and a calm atmosphere to work or meet friends, you'll leave happy; just manage expectations on the coffee quality and food consistency.”

Coffee was good. Food was average at best. Baristas were on the rude side and forgot about making our drinks after we ordered food. You’re better off driving 6 minutes to the Roastery with better coffee / breakfast sandwiches.
Five stars for their oat-chocolate chip-multigrain cookie. So freakin good with just the right amount of sweet, salt, and rich dark chocolate. The sweet potato breakfast bar was also fluffy and healthy, but that cookie is divine. Serene spot off the beautiful Stowe Recreation Path. Coming back to try their salted peanut butter cookie and more. 5 stars!!!!
A decent little coffee shop. Quiet, pleasant. Much of the food is premade and the burrito was very hard on one side. Overall the food and coffee were good, but not super shocking or anything. Prices felt quite high with burritos being around $10 despite being premade and under a heat lamp. I’d come back, I think, if only to try baked goods!
A Hidden Gem of a Coffee Shop in Stowe This coffee shop totally surprised me—in the best way. From the outside, it looks like a regular, quiet storefront with not much going on. But as soon as you step inside, it’s full of life, energy, and good vibes. One cool feature is the open kitchen. You can see everything being freshly made, which I always appreciate—it adds a level of transparency and authenticity to the whole experience. I ordered a Red Eye, and it was bang on—bold, rich, and just what I needed. I also tried the maple burrito, which was unexpectedly delicious. The flavors were unique and really satisfying. This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in Stowe. It’s conveniently located right next to the ski rental complex, making it a perfect stop before or after hitting the slopes. Great coffee, tasty food, and a fun, lively atmosphere—highly recommend!
My friends and I just loved this place while visiting Stowe. This became our morning go-to. Their coffee was so good and their pastries and sandwiches were very much enjoyed. I highly recommend their harvest bar (amazing) and their chia seed pudding. My husband also loved their house made granola bar. They were much less busy in the mornings than cafes on Main St and SO much better.
