Espresso Love
33 Broad St, Boston, MA
Crema's Take
“Tucked in Boston's Financial District, this espresso-focused café strikes an inviting balance between a quick caffeine stop and a leisurely hangout, with baristas who genuinely care about getting your drink right—whether that's a meticulously crafted oat milk latte or a perfectly spiced chai. The kitchen turns out surprisingly good breakfast fare and lunch options like fresh-flavored wraps, though timing can be inconsistent with online orders. Staff like Paola and Lucas make the experience feel genuinely welcoming rather than transactional, creating a cozy neighborhood vibe even in the bustling downtown.”

I stopped by Espresso Love while walking around Boston’s Financial District, and it turned out to be a nice little café for breakfast or a quick coffee break. The place feels cozy and relaxed, with a simple café atmosphere that’s perfect for grabbing a drink before work or while exploring downtown. I ordered a latte and a breakfast sandwich, and both were really satisfying. The coffee tasted smooth and well balanced, and the sandwich was warm, fresh, and filling. They also offer pastries, bagels, and light lunch options like sandwiches, bowls, and salads, so it’s easy to find something quick but tasty. What I liked most was how casual and friendly the place felt. It’s not a big or fancy café, but it has that comfortable neighborhood vibe where people stop in for their daily coffee. Overall, Espresso Love is a great little spot if you want good coffee and a simple breakfast in downtown Boston.
They usually have really good food but i put an online order at 845 and it said it was ready at 9am i go there at 910 am and they havent even made my order they only started because i asked where it was. No one apologized or offered me anything because i had to wait. Customer service 3/10. Make sure when you go you have time to wait for food or drinks
I ordered the Chicken Avocado BLT as a wrap and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were fresh and well-balanced, making it a perfect choice. Paola and Lucas were so welcoming and provided excellent service — they really made the experience warm and enjoyable. Highly recommend Expresso Love for both the food and the friendly atmosphere!
First time here. Stopped in for a hot beverage. They made an excellent Chai Latte. Had condiments on a table so that I could add an extra dash of cinnamon. Everyone there was pleasant and helpful. The space is relaxed with plenty of space for seating, with additional seating on the 2nd floor.
Got coffee and breakfast here. The lrge oat milk latte with a splash of pumpkin flavor was very, very good. One of the better lattes I've found in Boston so far. Food was fine -- I got oatmeal w/ peanut butter and banana. Very, very simple. I was pleasantly surprised by the blueberry scone, which was fresh & light. Would definitely recommend the scone. I ordered online, and there was a pick up rack by the door. Very easy grab and go.
