Crema's Take

This Koreatown gem has been perfecting the art of the sandwich since 2014, and their recent expansion shows they're doing something right—the bread is exceptional and fresh, the fillings are genuinely flavorful (think kimchi breakfast burritos alongside sun-dried tomato pesto options), and they offer multiple bread choices including a beloved ciabatta. It's an ideal spot to grab a quick, satisfying bite before heading somewhere else, whether that's a show or a meeting, and the vast menu means there's something craveable for everyone willing to invest in quality ingredients.

Stopped by recently and it’s a definitely a solid spot for breakfast or lunch. We tried the Mama Mia Sandwich, Sun Dried Tomato Pesto, Bulgogi, the Everything and Kimchi Breakfast Burritos, and the Banana Pudding. For me, the Kimchi Breakfast Burrito, Mama Mia, and Banana Pudding were the standouts. Portions are generous, everything tastes fresh, and they strike a nice balance between sandwiches and breakfast burritos. Ordering is easy whether you go in person or online, and the space is clean with convenient parking. If you’re looking for solid, flavorful food that hits without overcomplicating things, this is worth checking out.

I generally didn't like sandwich that much but I love every sandwiches here because they're so flavorful and the bread is exceptional. They're moist and fresh. The stuff inside is also delicious and goes well together. Mamma Mia is definitely a must try. Bagel and salad here are also very good. The menu is so large, just ask for recommendations and they'll say something you might like. They have free parking validation in the parking lot next to T Mobile. Price is great too. Totally recommend!

Came here to grab a bite to eat before a show across the street. The food and drink options are vast. The sandwiches are packed with flavor too. My only small gripe is the price point for most items. While typical for the area, nearly $15 for a sandwich is a bit steep. Worth it for a solid bite to eat? I suppose. If we end up in the area again, and had a sandwich feeling, we would return.

8/30/2025 - The WICHES ON WILSHIRE in KTown has been in business since 2014 and expanded from a TOGO small store to a bigger new store one year ago with specialization on tasteful fresh sandwiches. The Signature Cold Sandwich Mama Mia with Ciabatta bread is tasty and doughy (5 stars). The Salmon Bagel with Jalapeno Cheese is also 5 stars with memorable tasting experience with a perfect combination as a whole. The Green Theory Salad is fresh and tasty. The creamy tomato soup is excellent with creamy thick soup along with tiny sweet and spicy taste!

Hidden gem in Ktown! Can’t believe I just discovered Wiches on Wilshire after all these years—definitely one of my top 3 sandwich spots now. Tons of menu options and bread choices (ciabatta is my fave—crispy outside, soft inside). Everything is fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying without being too heavy. Favorites so far: Ultimate Chicken Sandwich (so packed with flavor and ingredients!), Bulgogi Sandwich (spicy Korean fusion twist), and the Everything Breakfast Burrito—loaded and delicious. The shop is bright, spacious, with easy parking right out front. Great for takeout or a chill sit-down meal. Highly recommend if you’re in the area!
