Satellite Coffee
2300 Central SE, Albuquerque, NM
Crema's Take
“This Albuquerque favorite strikes that rare balance between serious coffee craftsmanship and genuinely welcoming community space, with regulars raving about their espresso-forward drinks and the quietly cozy atmosphere perfect for hours of reading or working. The free refill policy and thoughtfully curated food menu of pastries and light breakfast items make it an easy choice for extended stays, though you might want to arrive early on busier days to avoid the occasional service slowdown. Earth-toned, understated decor creates an unpretentious refuge where you're as likely to linger over a perfectly pulled shot as you are to strike up a conversation with a friendly stranger.”

Good coffee , quiet cozy place to enjoy reading a book while surrounded by friendly positive strangers 🥰 I ordered a small iced black velvet , enjoy
The coffee here was actually really good. You get 1 free refill which was enough for me. Quiet morning coffee .
It was a little noisy inside the day I was there. There were a lot of people inside which also meant service was slow. Took a bit to get my avo toast but it didnt disappoint, the café mocha was also tasty. Thier food is always fresh.
My favorite coffee joint on the planet. Was a regular here for years. The majority of my reviews are of coffee places and I always get either an iced mocha or a blended mocha. I do not exaggerate when I say Satellite has the best blended mocha (mocha Java frio) I’ve ever had. The vibe is great, the service is always amazing, and it’s right near the heart of Central Ave and the university. Shout out to Rain (store manager), always a pleasure to talk and catch up.
I visited Satellite Coffee for the first time a couple of days ago. Overall, it was a nice experience. The decor with it's earth tones kind of reminds me somewhat of Panera Bread. I did notice they have a lot of outlets if you need to charge your electronic devices. They also have free Wi-Fi. The staff was very pleasant and there was a chill vibe to the place. I've yet to try any of their food and I'm giving this review based on 1 caramel/vanilla latte. It was decent and I enjoyed it.....but there are a couple of coffee shops nearby where I've had better. It's hard to beat Humble Coffee or Michael Thomas Coffee Roasters. I'd visit again, though, and would recommend if you're in that area.
