Meadowlark Coffee & Espresso

The coffee at Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso just south of downtown Lincoln Nebraska is some of the best specialty coffee I have had in the area. I ordered the Aztec Mocha Latte and the gluten free pumpkin loaf and both were excellent. The barista was friendly and the shop was quiet, bright, and very comfortable to work from or meet with friends. This coffee shop sits directly across from Bryan West Hospital, which makes it a perfect place to relax if you are waiting nearby. If you are looking for a quiet coffee shop in south Lincoln with great gluten free goodie options, comfortable seating, and a welcoming atmosphere, Meadowlark Coffee and Espresso is a spot you should check out.

What can I say about Meadowlark that hasn’t been said by hundreds of people already? Jewel of the community, queer friendly space, just in general a space where anyone from weirdos to professionals can come hang, work, you name it. Always friendly staff. Great choice of drinks and baked goods. Good variety of chairs, tables, booths for different groups and purposes. Good number of plug-in outlets though some of them are oddly located. They highlight local artists by hanging their art and giving people places to perform. This place has been going for years now and I hope it is around for many years to come. My favorite place in Lincoln.

This place made my terrible day go so much better. Out of all the coffee shops in Lincoln this is the first one I have seen with fare trade coffee from regions in Peru that have the best coffee. The prices are great. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying more coffee from other places.

Always a blast and pleasure being there. It’s been a while since I’ve been there. However the girl that rang me up phenomenal customer service great smile definitely welcoming. And huge shout out to the gentleman that made my order. I ordered something weird that normal people wouldn’t do and he knocked it out of the park. The moment I tried it it reminded me of home of a coffee I used to drink with my dad and brought me back to my childhood. Super thankful definitely will be back to continue to get what I got today and you guys keep doing your thing…. BARISTAS CHOICE.. this one happy customer.

I love this place! The baristas are always great. If you're indecisive, the employees can help whip you up a lovely drink. It is a nice place to study or work on drawings. Creations made by local artists are displayed here for sale, including paintings, prints, stickers, buttons, bookmarks, and fun little trinkets! They change every once in a while so it's always nice to see new art. The coffee is very good and the bakery items are always delicious! I forgot who usually makes the cupcakes, but they make adorable designs that I try to take pictures of every time I see them. They change up the flavors and designs, so you'll have to see what's in the case when you're there. I love my sweets, especially cakes, so I'm always fixated on the cupcakes here. Thank you, Meadowlark, for the satisfying treats. It's a delightfully scrumptious shop! You MUST check it out!
