Crema's Take
“Nestled in Alpine's downtown, Ru Coffee Co. has become an unexpected gem that draws coffee lovers from across the region with their espresso-focused drinks and creative signatures like the beloved Iced Tumbleweed—a thoughtful blend of vanilla, cinnamon, and honey that captures the spirit of West Texas. The welcoming owners and patient staff go out of their way to accommodate individual preferences, whether it's allergies or custom requests, making every visit feel personal rather than transactional. With an immaculate vibe enhanced by natural sunlight and a genuine commitment to quality, this is the kind of small-town coffee shop that inspires road-trippers to make detours and locals to linger.”

Today was my first experience with Ru Coffee, and I must say, it truly impressed me. In a small town with limited options, I didn't expect much, but Ru Coffee exceeded all expectations. Their flavors are exceptional, and they genuinely care about crafting exactly what you want in a great brew. The environment is relaxed and inviting, offering a perfect, calming space to prepare for the day ahead. This place is a hidden gem and a new favorite of mine.
I came all the way from Louisiana on a road trip and wanted to try small coffee shops and I have to say from here to the state Arizona this place has by far been my favorite! The 2 girl working were amazing and friendly! The coffee is amazing!
Great coffee and drinks. We had unique asks to accommodate allergies and other preferences and the staff was very patient and kind. Thank you!
This place is SO good and the vibes are immaculate. I got the iced tumbleweed which is an espresso drink with vanilla, cinnamon and honey. It was delicious! The owners are kind and welcoming, they gave us great travel recommendations and have created a place that feels like hanging out with family. There is live music and space to jam if that’s your thing.
A new coffee spot just opened up in the heart of downtown, and it’s definitely worth checking out! I stopped by this morning for their opening day, and the atmosphere is just right. The sunlight pouring through the windows, gives the place a warm and inviting feel. There are plenty of cozy couches inside if you want to relax, plus outdoor seating for those who prefer some fresh air. Whether you’re grabbing a quick cup or planning to sit and stay awhile, it’s a great addition to the heart of Downtown Fort Stockton.
