Motoring Coffee
1525 Union St, San Francisco, CA
Crema's Take
“Motoring Coffee leans into a genuinely unique concept with actual vintage cars displayed throughout the space, creating an atmosphere that feels more like a carefully curated garage than a typical café. Their espresso drinks, particularly the Redline cappuccino, are smooth and well-executed, and they're refreshingly flexible with milk options at no extra charge. It's the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time whether you're working on your laptop or just hanging out, though be prepared for the trade-off of crowds and a lively, sometimes loud energy.”

We just came for a beverage and to look around but it seems like a super interesting place to get work done too. I just got a black tea with some whole milk which tasted exactly like it should. The tea did make its way up the string and started dripping everywhere when we got back to the car but that might be user error on my end (I dont use teabags very often). Otherwise it was a cool location (quite packed albeit) with a fun but expensive merch section in the corner.
Such a cool place for coffee and chill! The Redline cappuccino and even the normal cappuccino were delicious and smooth. The atmosphere is very welcoming and we lost track of time just hanging out. I wish I could drive that Porsche home LOL
There is no charge for milk change. The coffee shop as the name suggests has a car / automobile vibe. They have a Porsche inside and couple of other cool cars! Got the iced vanilla latte. Coffee was mid, will not be buying the beans. @thefoodblogie on insta for more.
Loved the idea of this place but the experience didn’t quite live up to it. Coffee was nice, food was better but.. always has long lines, seating is a challenge, noise level is high, slow to receive your drink when food is turned around quickly. The cars are a nice novelty but quickly you feel like they just take up space, make it difficult to move around with your drinks because people are stopping and taking pics or just looking at the cars.
The staff aren’t always the nicest. The place itself is very beautiful I love the cars, the seats, and the environment. Every latte I’ve gotten has had coffee grounds in it unfortunately:(. I think it sucks that you guys discounted the cold foam it also sucks that you guys don’t have whipped cream other than that latte is good in flavor.
