Crema's Take
“This Denver breakfast spot nails the cozy-but-bustling vibe with genuinely accommodating staff like Juanita and Cisco who seem to actually care about getting your food right. The kitchen turns out beautifully plated dishes—think perfectly cooked eggs benedict and crispy bacon—that arrive fast without sacrificing quality, and the generous seating (including shaded outdoor spots) makes it equally perfect for a solo coffee ritual or bringing the whole family. It's the kind of place where the laid-back atmosphere and attention to detail combine to make even a regular breakfast feel a little special.”

The food was sooo good and had the prettiest presentation. Juanita is so sweet and helpful and Cisco the cook is so accommodating. Perfect place for a family breakfast.
I recently visited The French Press and found it to be a great spot with a lot going for it! The vibe here is wonderfully laid-back, and the ample seating options combined with the fast and friendly service made for a very pleasant experience. I tried the Veggie Benedict, and the flavors were delicious. However, I noticed there were a few too many onions mixed in with the eggs; cutting back on those would make this dish truly shine. My meal also arrived slightly cooler than I would have liked, which kept it from being excellent. I also ordered a Cappuccino, which was well-made, but I was hoping for an even creamier, richer texture to make it perfect. Despite those minor points, the quality of the ingredients is clearly high. I would absolutely recommend The French Press to anyone looking for a great brunch spot, as these small adjustments would easily make it a five-star experience!
Food was cold? Egg was definitely cold and maybe that just made the rest of the dish cold? Food was good and flavorful, very sweet and bacon was great, but it was simply cold. Service was good and cashier answered questions well, it was less food than I expected. Also a 2% credit card fee we didn’t discover until we were texted the check.
Great atmosphere and service. Food came out very quickly and the place was extremely tidy. Great volume and seating. There was outside shaded seating, bar seating (facing the street, great for people watching), and your normal tables. It wasn’t overly loud or crowded, but we did get there by 11:30ish so the rush breakfast crowd was over. The only thing to be improved was the that the breakfast potato’s weren’t very warm, on either of our dishes, nor were they crispy. I also got the BLAT which sounded great, and was. I switched out the whole wheat for sourdough but did notice that there wasn’t much avocado or tomato. Bacon amount was good, and the maple bacon tasted amazing!
Good location of a small breakfast/lunch chain. The crab cake eggs benedict was excellent. The eggs and asparagus were both properly cooked. The drip coffee was good. Service was fast and friendly. The space itself is large enough to accommodate around 40 or so customers. It's not particularly fancy but was clean and nice. They had pleasant music playing at a low level. Parking was readily available, but the small lot across the street was nearly full by the time I left.
