Crema's Take

The Railyard is a charming community gathering spot built around a central courtyard where you can linger under beautiful old trees while rotating food trucks keep your appetite satisfied and a well-stocked bar crafts unique frozen drinks alongside traditional coffee options. It's the kind of place that feels equally welcoming whether you're meeting a friend for a leisurely morning or bringing the whole family for an afternoon of exploring different food vendors, though arriving early helps you dodge the drink line rush. The consistently high reviews praise both the impressive food quality and that rare, genuinely relaxed atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer than you planned.

The railyard is a great place to hang out and have always had good food. However when asked if the bar inside could fill up our water bottle they told us to buy water. I get paying for food, soda, and beer, but I think buying water is a little extreme when we are there buying everything else 🙄

It was our first time visiting the Railyard, and it was pretty cool!! There's basically a sitting area in the center and a few food trucks surrounding the sitting area, and a bar on one side and the stage on the opposite side. This place definitely has the tastiest alcoholic drinks and shots here in Springfield that we've had. I prefer sweet drinks, and there were a lot of sweet options. You can also easily walk up to get whatever you want from each food truck. The food was delicious!!! So many good options to choose from! The only thing we didn't enjoy very much was the music. It was just slow country music the whole time, and we didnt know any songs since we don't really like country, but that's just our opinion! I'm sure others would've loved that too!! Overall, we loved the experience, and we will be back to try more food and drinks for sure!

Nice local venue. More shade than I expected because of the beautiful old trees in the area. Good variety of food. Nice selection of drinks but the drink line is a little long. Arrive early if you have a big party. We came at 5. Also be prepared to share tables...everyone is lovely and you can make new friends.

Great atmosphere, impressive food quality and selection. Kids and adults in our group all loved it. The bar had a fun selection of unique frozen drinks as well. Can't wait to get back! Access to a water station would be nice (and we may have just overlooked it), but regardless, this place is great!

My husband & I were first-timers at The Railyard last night and we loved it! The Mexican food from El Dorado was delicious! (Chips/guacamole/spicy queso, Birria tacos & 1 carnitas taco/1 Al Pastor taco - both American style). We really enjoyed the live music, cocktails, plenty of nice picnic tables & it was definitely a family friendly establishment as well. We will be back :)
