The bright, modern space shines as a neighborhood gathering spot—whether you're settling in with your laptop, meeting a friend, or lingering over fresh pastries like their standout apple cinnamon muffin, with the bonus of outdoor seating that makes it feel like an escape. I got a Carmel macchiato and an ice water. $6.60 was my total. Coffee is great tasting and very pretty. I enjoyed sitting outside and the customer service was great.
Santos in Homewood is a lively, modern Mexican-inspired restaurant that has quickly become a favorite for locals seeking bold flavors and a fun atmosphere. The interior is bright and colorful, with a casual, welcoming vibe that makes it ideal for date nights, family dinners, or casual gatherings with friends. The menu focuses on fresh, flavorful dishes with a modern twist on classic Mexican cuisine. Tacos are a highlight—crispy, soft, or grilled, each packed with inventive fillings and vibrant toppings. Burritos, bowls, and quesadillas are equally satisfying, and the restaurant offers plenty of vegetarian options. Sides like chips and guacamole, street corn, and fresh salsas round out the meal perfectly.
The baked goods hadn't been restocked at the time I ordered but were brought in before I left, they looked amazing. Good coffee, very mild. The barista wasn't super friendly but everyone has their days. If I was local, I would go back. There's a ton of shops around too.
Great coffee, and the staff are knowledgeable about the drinks. This coffee house has unique blends of flavors and herbs, so it requires a little discussion. The location is also perfect for an afternoon walk or sitting outside to enjoy your drink!
Amazing coffee and great food! Also very nice atmosphere inside though the shop is a bit small there is plenty of space to sit. The apple cinnamon muffin was one of the best muffins I’ve ever had. The Cafe Maya also had the perfect ratio of chocolate to cayenne. Delicious
