Snowman Hot Chocolate
150 S Market St, San Jose, CA
Crema's Take
“Snowman Hot Chocolate creates an undeniably Instagram-worthy holiday experience with theatrical presentation that draws crowds, though reviews suggest the actual hot chocolate doesn't match the visual appeal or premium pricing. This cash-only spot near San Jose's ice skating rink leans hard into seasonal charm and Instagram aesthetics, making it more of a festive photo op than a serious coffee destination. If you're chasing the experience and don't mind the premium markup for ambiance, it's a fun winter ritual—just manage your expectations about what's actually in the cup.”

This place is extremely crowded, barely have space to walk through the waves of people. Hot cocoa is expensive and it’s SWISS MISS with hot water LOL I AM SO SERIOUS!! I'm not your aesthetic girly you better go make me some Mexican chocolate abuelita if that’s the case or make your hot cocoa from scratch if y'all are going to sell it for that price LOL I seriously could've made this at home! not whining about the money but THE QUALITY 😤
The concept is nice, but they could really be making their cocoa from scratch at that price. It's also served lukewarm so the whip cream doesn't melt before they hand it to you - feel free to enjoy as soon as you get it so it doesn't get cold! Lines are not respected here, so just shove your way to the front if you want to order. CASH ONLY Regular: $8 Large: $9
This place is OUTRAGEOUS….. presentation is a 10/10. Tastes like chocolate water… this is the lowest quality you can get. I kid you not two of these are more than a meal at a restaurant. This place is so expensive for nothing and it’s CASH only….. hmmmmm I wonder why? You’re better going anywhere else!
Tis the season for the great Snowman ☃️ hot chocolate! Be sure to carry cash, there is an 🏧 machine in-front of the ice skating rink. There are multiple lanes for quick service, a small hot chocolate was $6.00 ⭐️
The drink itself was ok, but I was so disappointed to find out that the snowman is a little plastic figurine which is (of course) inedible. Other than that, this is a cute addition to the Christmas in the Park
