Crema's Take

TOUS les JOURS in Cerritos is a beloved bakery café where the real stars are the pastries and cakes—think buttery croissants, delicate macarons, and their standout blueberry cake that keeps families coming back for celebrations. Beyond the stellar baked goods, they've carved out a cozy spot for lingering with friends and family, offering both traditional coffee and inventive drinks like their iced lavender matcha latte, plus plenty of vegetarian-friendly options. Fair warning: their decaf coffee service can be inconsistent, but the pastry game and calm, well-maintained atmosphere make it worth the visit.

Ordered decaf coffee and server said they don't hv any brewed and mumbling why didn't hv any made. Asked if they have decaf and still said she can't make any. Then pkgd pastries and didn't ask if eat in or out. Told her eat in and she hastily put items on tray with a little attitude. Not a healthy start for the morning !!

First time to this place and absolutely loved it. Savouries, cakes and macrons were simply amazing. Being vegetarians had plenty of options as well. It was a well maintained place with lots of seating available. Clean and well maintained as well. Staff were kind and friendly. My new favourite for sure.

Love the blueberry cake and the pastries. Omg they also have this raisin bread thats just so good not too sweet but very light n fluffy. I also get this iced lavender matcha latte super yummy. The store is chill but very pretty. Cakes run about $40 but theyre decorated pretty so I think theyre worth it.

We’ve been loyal to Tous les Jours for years — from Texas to California — but this Cerritos location stands out. As parents, we keep coming back for birthdays because of one standout reason: the cakes are genuinely less sweet but still full of flavor. The Cloud Cake #3 is our family favorite — light, balanced, and perfect for kids and adults who want a treat without the sugar overload. But what surprised me most about this location is how well the space is designed. The double-height ceiling and full-height glazed storefront let in generous natural light, creating a clean, open atmosphere that feels more like a curated patisserie than a typical franchise. The lighting — both ambient and display-focused — is well-calibrated, making the desserts pop without feeling overlit or clinical. The pastry displays are organized with visual hierarchy in mind: cakes are placed on raised platforms, evenly spaced, and not crowded — each one showcased as a centerpiece. There’s a consistent material palette (glass, marble, and warm metallic accents) that keeps the interior feeling cohesive and elevated. Even the layout circulation is intentional, allowing customers to move comfortably while taking in the full product selection. It’s clear the brand — or at least this franchise owner — has invested in more than just good recipes. There’s a real awareness of how space, lighting, and visual clarity shape the customer experience. That kind of attention to environment makes a difference — especially when choosing something for a special moment like a child’s birthday.

This is the third Tous Les Jours location I’ve been to! So far I’ve visited their newest Brea location and the Fullerton location. Tip: Download their app for a free butter or chocolate chip cookie! Don’t forget to scan your points! Parking: They’re located in a corner of a plaza. Finding a spot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They have a large space with a good amount of indoor seating. Very clean and modern. Every location I’ve visited, it is always busy. Service: The workers can work on their professionalism and throughput. I rather not hear their conversation about relationship issues out loud. Throughput took 8 min for 2 drinks after ordering. Pastries & drinks: I was really bummed that this location didn’t have the strawberry croissants. I mainly visited to claim my free chocolate chip cookies. They weren’t overly sweet. My bf and I also ordered a Honey Lavender Matcha Latte and an iced Peppermint Mocha (seasonal). My bf loves their honey lavender matcha latte. Their peppermint mocha tasted exactly as it sounds; minty & delicious. Pricing: It is a bit pricier compared to other pastry shops. We only visit when we have a sweet tooth or happen to be near one.
