Crema's Take

Hagerty Family Cafe offers a genuine neighborhood warmth with crepes that pair beautifully with their coffee, making it a solid choice for a leisurely breakfast near campus. While service can be inconsistent, the best experiences come when you connect with dedicated staff members who clearly care about getting orders right. It's the kind of place that rewards patience with satisfying traditional fare and a genuinely family-friendly vibe.

The slowest peoe with no energy I have ever encountered. They would rather chat than give me the smoothie I paid for. Horrible work ethic.

Thank you Ian for fixing my order on Saturday, you Sir are doing great things for our country and for the Notre Dame community. Keep doing a great job and hope they give you a good raise to keep you working there for many years to come and you can retire. Thank you 🙏💯🎉🇺🇸

The food and coffee are absolute garbage. The only reason I came back to it today was because all other breakfast places on campus are closed for summer. Thought I'd try their new sausage egg and cheese croissant...and you'd be better off buying a box of microwave Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches. How does this school have so much money and can't afford to put a decent coffee/breakfast joint in Duncan? Staff is nice and have nothing against them

I have traveled all over the world, and this if the first place where I was told that I could not interact with the staff to order a coffee. I have never been forced to scroll through a screen, push options I'm not familiar with, and have no human contact with human beings. It is wrong, infuriating, dehumanizing, and bad business. I will not patronize this business or any other place that will not allow me to be a human being when I spend money. I am not a robot. I am a person. I want to be able to talk to people, ask them questions, make requests, and say "Thank you" when I go to any cafe. So disturbing and dehumanizing.

Excellent place to enjoy a good breakfast, the crepes are very good and accompanied by coffee is perfect.
