The Bulkley

I've been living at The Bulkley for 2 months and I have to say it has been amazing. Marissa and the maintenance team are always helpful and available to assist. Despite being above the theaters and restaurants the living quarters are quiet and comfy. It is also very convenient having places to eat and having them discounted for playhouse residents.

I had a great experience living at Bulkley Residence. The location is very convenient, especially for students and professionals, with easy access to nearby stores and public transportation. The apartments are clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The management and staff are responsive and helpful whenever there is a maintenance request or question. Any issues I had were addressed quickly, which made living here stress free. The building feels safe, and common areas are kept neat.

I've lived here for about eight months. When I first moved in, it was a bit of a disaster since it was brand new. John was mostly unresponsive and nothing (ex. parking) was solidified at that point. Also, I had originally placed a maintenance order before I signed my lease and it took a month after I moved in to be completed (it was a literally a faulty light bulb). However, now with a change in management, I feel that everything is entirely better. Marissa is so responsive, thoughtful and always has a fun activity planned every month. The only thing I'd have comment on is that you can hear everything happening in the hallway from your apartment, unless you have your TV turned up. In the hall, you can hear everything in the apartments. Just something to think about when moving in. Otherwise, everyone is pretty much to themselves and its typically a quiet and safe building. Occasionally there are complimentary tickets offered to the shows or discounts to the restaurants if you sign up for Playhouse Perks!

I’ve been living here since June 2025 and have had a really good experience. The location is very convenient, especially being close to downtown and Playhouse Square. The building is well kept, and maintenance has been responsive whenever I needed help. I really like the amenities room and the mail room, and the gym is especially great. The staff, including maintenance and security, has always been helpful, friendly, and professional. Overall, it’s been a comfortable and enjoyable place to live, and I’m happy to be part of this community.

Living at The Bulkley in Playhouse Square has been a great experience so far. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of downtown Cleveland, close to restaurants, theaters, and everything Playhouse Square has to offer. It’s super convenient and has a lively but comfortable atmosphere. My move-in experience was smooth and well organized. The leasing and management team was helpful, responsive, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. Overall, I love the character of the building, the location, and the supportive management team. I’d definitely recommend The Bulkley to anyone looking to live downtown and enjoy the Playhouse Square area.
