So glad this place opened near me! I've been here countless times since opening and have not been disappointed. The workers are friendly, especially Ahmed, who is so welcoming. Will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu! The coffees and teas are delicious and not overly sweetened. The menu can be overwhelming at first, but the workers are more than happy to help. I always get something new and have liked them all so far! Highly recommend Yemeni and Maple Walnut (seasonal) lattes. Over the summer, I tried the refreshers- the only thing that was "bad. " they tasted too artificial. Strawberry was the best but a bit too sweet for my taste buds. The "famous" or viral honeycomb bread is just okay- did not taste freshly made. It was slightly cold, like they just took it out the fridge. Overhyped, not recommended. Other sweets and savory pastries are available. Loved the Tomato and Olive danish; it was light, crispy (they warmed it up), not too salty or greasy. If you dine in, they use real mugs, not plastic. Weekdays are calmer than weekends. Visted last Saturday after 7p and it was still packed! Good place for studying as there are many tables and chairs, and even outlets. Just ask the workers for the guest WiFi password. There are 2 unisex bathroom stalls in the back. Parking in Montclair sucks. There's free street parking, if you're lucky. Or, paid parking garages nearby. TL;DR friendly service, delicious latte and teas, seasonal drinks, good place for catching up with friends or studying

My gang and I visited Qawah House, which I believe was recently opened, they have a branch in Paterson Main Street but I liked this one more. The shop is spotless and beautifully maintained, with an aesthetic that feels both modern and inviting. The décor is thoughtfully put together, creating a calming and peaceful atmosphere that makes it easy to settle in and unwind. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. There’s a genuine warmth in the way they interact with customers, and you can tell they truly care about making sure everyone has a great experience. Their professionalism and positive attitude really stood out. The ambiance is outstanding — soothing music, comfortable seating, and an overall vibe that makes it perfect for studying, working, or spending time with friends. It’s a space that encourages you to stay and enjoy the moment. Qawah House has definitely become one of my favorite local spots. Clean, cozy, stylish, and supported by wonderful people. I highly recommend stopping by if you’re looking for exceptional coffee and an environment that feels good to be in.

Heard a lot about this place from a friend who highly recommended it, so I finally decided to stop by — and it did not disappoint! We ordered their Adeni Chai (medium kettle) which was more than enough for us. In fact, we joked that we should’ve gone with the small kettle because it serves quite generously! 😄 We also tried the Sabaya, which paired perfectly with the chai — such a comforting combination. The café has plenty of seating, good light music, and an amazing vibe that makes it a great spot to relax, chat, or get some work done. Overall, a definite must-visit for chai lovers and anyone looking for a cozy hangout spot. ☕✨

Qahwah House Montclair is such a cozy and welcoming spot! The Yemeni coffee was rich and full of flavor, and the atmosphere felt warm and authentic. The pastries were fresh and perfectly sweet — especially the khaliat alnahl! The staff were friendly and made the experience even better. Definitely a great place to relax and enjoy real Arabic coffee.

Whenever I travel anywhere the first thing I find is a cool coffee shop with good vibes. I was here a week and even though I tried other coffee shops in the area this was my favorite place. Yemeni coffee has a very strong, distinct flavor and I found it to be delicious. The pastries and desserts were fantastic and the baristas were friendly, fantastic people. I can't wait to come back again.
