Crema's Take

Boyfriend Co-Op is a cooperatively-run cafe, bar, and event space that feels like stepping into a friend's eclectic living room, with moody lighting, vintage furniture, and every corner begging for a photo. Beyond excellent coffee and pastries from local bakers, they pour creative cocktails and host live music, making it equally perfect for a solo work session, date night, or hosting an event with community-minded folks. With queer ownership, affordable pricing, and a genuinely welcoming vibe, it's become a beloved third space for Brooklyn's creative and LGBTQ+ communities.

Very cozy space for coffee, snacks, and more. I really enjoyed the ginger cookie and the seating options. This is also a great 3rd space for lgbt people. Appreciated that they had some gluten free options. Location is also close to an iconic intersection.

Such a cool spot - the first cooperatively run cafe, bar, and event space in NYC! Queer run, affordable, and witchy vibes. The cocktails were delicious and the decor creates an inviting atmosphere. I love it and can't wait to come back!
