Crema's Take
“Nestled in Traverse City with a picturesque creek running alongside, The Mill Glen Arbor charms visitors with its thoughtfully renovated space that feels both homey and polished—perfect for lingering over specialty drinks, matcha, and pastries in a setting that celebrates the outdoors. While some find the pricing steep for casual coffee stops, the venue truly shines as a destination spot for special occasions and unhurried moments, whether you're catching up with friends or marking a milestone like an anniversary.”

We enjoyed Valentine's dinner at The Mill with another couple and had the 5-course Chef's tasting menu with wine pairings. Everything was excellent! The menu items were quite unique and very nicely presented, the wines paired very well, and the service was wonderful. We enjoyed a table looking over the river. It was a wonderful evening.
We had supper at The Mill last night. The atmosphere and service were wonderful, but the portions are so small and the prices so high I don’t think we will return for a meal. My entree was two very small pieces of fish in a small bowl with a radish sliced on top of it. Price- $48. We went somewhere else for dessert to fill ourselves up. 😆
The cold drinks are overpriced. I ordered one iced latte, four cookies, two iced teas, and one regular Coke for $45. The iced tea tasted like plain water with ice—definitely not worth the price. I came with my family for refreshments after our wedding photo shoot, and we were asked to pay an additional fee to take pictures inside, even though our visit was simply to enjoy some drinks after a sunny day outdoors. The way this request was made felt a bit rude and uncomfortable, especially in front of other guests. This is not the way to treat a frequent local customer.
Came here last week after seeing on TikTok. Our drinks weren’t great. I got a latte, my cousin got a matcha. The venue itself is cute and the creek that runs along the building is pretty especially in the fall. Merch was insanely priced, a hoodie for $110! I did overhear a conversation between an employee and either the owner or manager I think. Guy with mustache and apron. He was arguing with the barista. They could have taken their conversation away from customers, and also, there’s a better way he can speak to his employees. It was kind of rude.
My husband and I spent our honeymoon here and it was quite honestly, perfect. I still dream about this place, and we stayed over a year ago. It's so homey and the renovation they did is so well done. They have really leaned into the history of the building while having modern amenities. Every morning we were able to get a drink and a baked good for free. It was the PERFECT stay. A lot of people have said it's pricey, but I think it's worth it!! Also the staff is amazing. We will be booking another stay here in the future! 💖
