Crema's Take

Little Wing serves up thoughtfully pulled espresso drinks in a modern, welcoming space that feels both cozy and work-friendly, with a reliably excellent cappuccino and latte pairing perfectly with fresh daily pastries from neighboring Kneads Bakery. The staff genuinely knows their craft and treats every visitor with warmth, making this Peninsula spot attached to the Roost hotel worth the special trip for anyone serious about their coffee.

10’s across the board! Excellent service - everyone is friendly and knowledgeable. The baked goods are fresh daily from Kneads Bakery, which makes the bacon egg and cheese THAT much better. The donuts are amazing. This is a great place to take out-of-town guests for a cute morning treat or afternoon snack. Very instagramable area in general.

Disappointed Despite a Beautiful Space I visited Little Wing this morning, making a special trip from downtown Baltimore in search of quality specialty coffee. The interior is modern, welcoming, and nicely designed—it’s connected to a hotel with spacious seating and lovated next a lovely waterfront, which initially gave me high hopes. Also Unfortunately, the coffee was a letdown. It felt rushed. It was made without much care or attention, tasting more like something thrown together at home than a true specialty brew. The beans had a burnt aftertaste, and overall, it felt like the barista wasn’t really interested in the craft. I was excited to visit based on the reviews, and while I’m happy I saw the space, I left disappointed as the quality of the coffee was surprisingly poor. I really wanted to love this place, but I left feeling disappointed. Happy I came, but even sadder to leave unsatisfied. Two stars—solely for the beautiful setting.

The atmosphere in this beautiful coffee shop is wonderful . You can tell that they use very great quality coffee beans . I’ve been here a few times ! The only thing I’d ask for is to improve the taste of the syrups I wish they were a tad bit sweeter . I love their hours of operation !!!!

We had a cappuccino, a latte and a cruasant, all very good. Very quiet and a very pleasant atmosphere. It has armchairs to be quiet and comfortable. The only bad thing is that there is no free parking, but half an hour cost us $3.

Checked out this cute cafe attached to the Roost hotel at Baltimore Peninsula. The vibe is super cozy, with extra seating available in the lobby. We popped in on a rainy Saturday to work on our laptops. Darius, our barista, was super friendly. I had the whipped ricotta toast with honey and their latte special, "Kiss from a Rose"—a strawberry rose latte, which was awesome. My boyfriend grabbed a warmed-up chocolate croissant (always a win when pastries are heated up). They even have a small shop with local goodies and items from brands like Fishwife and Patagonia. I’d definitely come back, and anyone staying at the Roost should swing by this hidden gem.
