Crema's Take

This St. Louis Park spot nails the all-day breakfast experience with creative signatures like red velvet waffles and mushroom gravy that keep people coming back for their Saturday ritual. The warm, welcoming atmosphere makes it equally good for solo coffee contemplation or gathering with family, and the staff's consistently attentive service means your coffee cup never sits empty even when they're slammed. While the kitchen occasionally stumbles on consistency, the genuine hospitality and willingness to experiment beyond standard diner fare—think pistachio martinis alongside espresso—makes this more than just another breakfast spot.

This is my go to Saturday coffee spot. Absolutely love everything about this place! Staff is awesome. No matter busy, service is always great. Both the coffee and food are great! Absolutely love the pimento eggs, thier bagel sandwich, biscuits and the pineapple coconut french toast! They also have a pistachio martini that is by far my favorite drink they offer. The mimosa tower is great too! I recommend making reservations. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Hope Breakfast Bar gave us such a meaningful experience. With everything going on in Minnesota right now, it’s been hard to feel comfortable going out, but from the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. Our server, Jen, was incredibly kind and professional, this was the second time she’s helped us, and she’s always wonderful. Toward the end of our meal, we found out that a couple seated near us had paid for our brunch. I was honestly near tears. That simple act of kindness meant more than they could know. Wish I could have said thank you before they left (I didn’t know they paid yet at the time) 🥹 Made me so happy! Great food, amazing service, and a place that truly feels like community. 💛

I really like this restaurant concept and have dined there multiple times, but I feel like they’re losing the edge on food quality. Presentation is pretty good as you can see, but the flavor is bland. Poblano tortilla was heartless and overloaded with greasy cheese. The other dish also low on flavor ….coffee drinks were decent. Bottom line is that it’s $30’ish or more per person and needs to be more memorable.

First time visiting and we had a great experience overall! The mushroom gravy and red velvet waffles were absolutely delicious- definitely the highlights of the meal. The pistachio martini and breakfast shot flight didn’t quite hit the mark for us, but the bright, open dining space and genuinely friendly service made up for it. We’ll be back to try more!.

This was our first visit. Stuffed poblano pepper had nice flavor, a little spicy, with seasoned hashbrowns. The biscuits and gravy was ok. Gravy was good but biscuits were oily like they had been reheated on the flat top. Chicken fried steak was ok as well. It could have been a little more fried and was expensive given the size. We sat in a Booth which was a little uncomfortable as its just hard wood. We came at 8:00am on Sunday and other wasn't to busy yet. Service was good and food came out very fast. Plenty of parking in the underground ramps.
