Crema's Take
“By The Woods has cultivated the kind of genuine neighborhood warmth that keeps locals coming back—the owners and staff genuinely seem to care, and it shows in how they make you feel at ease whether you're settling in for hours with your laptop or grabbing a quick cup. The cozy, cute atmosphere paired with reasonable prices and a thoughtful selection of light bites and rotating pop-up merchandise makes it feel less like a coffee chain pit stop and more like discovering a friend's favorite gathering spot in Fort Myers.”

Came here for the first time I’ve heard good things , they did not disappoint! Very nice people & the environment was super cozy & cute ! It was such a nice comforting environment, the drinks were a 10/10 , the espresso was nice and smooth great texture ! definitely will be coming back !
Very cozy coffee shop. Prices are very reasonable, service was great and I enjoyed browsing some of the pop up shop merchandise. My only suggestion was to add a small coffee table to the outdoor seating. Other than that lovely experience. Look forward to visiting again.
I am BIG on coffee and was so excited to give this place a try. I was met with immense disappointment after ordering a latte and danish of some sort. As someone with food sensitivities, I’ll always seek a dairy alternative to avoid any flare-ups. The menu had no mention of almond milk being an option, I came to find out when I was standing waiting for my drink simply because I saw it in their fridge. Bad on me for not asking, but bad on you for not posting it on your menu. I asked for my knowledge what other milks they had and was told “half and half, whole milk, and almond”. The kid making the coffee wasn’t very enthusiastic or pleasant, though the girl who took my order was very sweet. She suggested a pastry which was in a glass case, it looked delicious. I was so disappointed when I took the first bite. It was stale, and tasted as if it had been there a couple of days. I was there pretty early on a Saturday morning, so considering the time there was no excuse. Store is very cute, little warm, but cute. You can tell they are supporting a lot of local businesses which is great. I will say, as I read on a couple of the other reviews, if you are a new local business and a patron is leaving you a review don’t minimize their concerns. It seems the owner isn’t happy if you leave any thing below five stars. For a five star review, provide five star quality.
I finally got a chance to the local coffee shop that everyone in the neighborhood was buzzing about. So happy I finally did! Owners and staff are super friendly and easy to talk with. I decided to try their Affogato (which I’ve never had before) however I asked if they could make it with their dairy free ice cream option. Their dairy free option at the time was coconut, which was so delicious on its own with little chunks of toasted coconut throughout it, but OMG! When I had the espresso poured over this and let it melt a little it was so delicious and creamy, I could go back every day for one! The shop is so cute, not only do they have coffee and ice cream, but offer almond and oat milk for dairy free options. They also have a very cute selection of merchandise, locally produced baked goods. The shop is so cozy with a small electric fireplace And comfy seating.
Such a great local spot! We’ve needed this in our area for SO long. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service is quick and there are a variety of small bites available. Would 10/10 recommend!
