Today is the second time y wife and I come to Miam Coral Gables. This time around though it was special as we were celebrating our daughter's birthday. We truly love everything Miam offers. The food is delicious. The coffee keeps you warm. And of course, we can't forget about our server, Keily. She is amazing and has a wonderful personality. Can't wait to come back again.

Upon walking in, the whole place smelled like bathroom refresher, we were greeted with a menu and asked to choose our seats. We chose seats towards the back and it was by the bathroom. It has a very specific smell and just smelled like the bathroom. We moved towards the front and the smell was still there just not as pungent. The back was pungent. It smelled like someone pooped and covered it with artificial freshener. I went to go use the bathroom and it smelled just like that. Environment was dirty and the kitchen looked really disorganized and unclean. We sat down and waited 25 min even though it was empty , I don’t mind the wait as long as the food is good. It wasn’t. The pancakes looked good and it tasted like hotel pancake mix you get at the buffet downstairs. Absolutely not special whatsoever. The presentation of the food was why i went in the first place. The pancakes were warm and kind of tough to cut them into. Not soft whatsoever. I got the regular MIAM pancake and the other person i was with got the buttermilk. We did not finish the meal and it was purely sugary. Even the maple syrup tasted fake and was covered in whip cream. If it’s a preference on the sweetness that’s fine and maybe not for me and for others, but the toughness and quality of the pancake was horrible. I could make this at home and paying 50$ for two pancakes is robbery at its finest. It’s just a big tough pancake with whip and a sprinkle of fruit. Just wasn’t clean or good and not worth it. Services wasn’t that good either and they were pretty dismissive. Please save your money.

The atmosphere of this little café is great. The people are very friendly a d approachable. The pancakes that we ordered could use a lot of help. We ordered the Dubai Pancakes and Tres Leches Pancakes. Both orders, the pancakes were very dry and overpriced. Kudos for attempting a Dubai pancake based off the current popularity in Dubai chocolate. However, what they have here tastes like pistachio paste mixed with shredded wheat insted of kitafi. They do not offer any sides so we wound up ordering an entire extra platter of eggs, bacon, and potatoes vs a side of one egg and a slice of bacon. We paid $24 for a stack of three pancakes, $11 for the "side" of eggs, bacon, & potatoes, $4 for a regular cup of drip coffee, and $6 for a regular size mocha. While the atmosphere, presentation, and service was great. However, the food did not match the quality of the rest.

Sooo… I’m gonna be honest here because there are A LOT of places to grab breakfast in the area and reviews are a great way to make an informed choice on where to spend your money. I just spent $75 ON BREAKFAST FOR ONE PERSON to give you this insight 😂. I’ve been wanting to try this place for ages since it always looks busy and aesthetically, those pancakes look bomb. I tried a little bit of everything including a specialty coffee drink, the famous pancakes, a croissant, and the bacon/eggs/home fries platter. While the pistachio croissant was delicious and noticeably of high quality, the rest of the food just isn’t worth the price tag. The food looked great but wasn’t very warm upon arrival to my table and lacked flavor or anything that would justify the insane price I paid for breakfast 🤪 Definitely a cute place to grab a pastry and espresso but not for a meal. I do love that you order at the counter and they bring you your food and leave you be so you can have an uninterrupted conversations with whoever you’re with. Points for that!

I had an outstanding experience at Miam Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm, inviting, and full of great energy. The food was absolutely delicious — every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But the highlight of my visit was our server, Daily. She was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Daily checked on us at the perfect moments, made great recommendations, and created a welcoming vibe that took the whole experience to the next level. It’s rare to find service that feels this personal and consistent. I’ll definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend Miam to anyone looking for great food, great service, and an all-around amazing dining experience. Thank you, Daily, for making it unforgettable!
