Crema's Take

Mikayla's Cafe is a beloved neighborhood spot in Santa Clara where breakfast and brunch shine, particularly their creative benedicts and French toast variations that keep regulars coming back. The cafe strikes a lovely balance between a casual coffee destination and a proper sit-down restaurant, making it equally welcoming for a quick pastry with your latte or a leisurely meal with family and friends. While food quality can be inconsistent, at its best this place delivers fresh, thoughtfully prepared dishes paired with solid coffee in a clean, intimate setting.

I came here for a late brunch and had a really great time. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with avocado, and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. The bowl of fruit was especially fresh, which I appreciated, and the coffee was excellent too. The place has a nice vibe and it felt like a relaxing spot to spend the morning. It’s a little on the pricier side, but overall the quality and experience made it worth it. I’d definitely visit again.

Server was friendly. Food was not the best.. the salmon and the avocado were very cold as if they were frozen and recently defrosted. Eggs were good, bread was nothing special just regular bread. And the latte just tasted bad. I see this place has good reviews so I was surprised. Maybe I just had a bad luck, based on my experience, I would not return.

Best breakfast I've ever had! All of us enjoyed our food so much. Carmel crunch French toast, croissant French toast, spicy Mexican benny, and chicken and gravy Benny all were absolutely fabulous!!! And top it off with mango mimosas ❤️❤️❤️

Came here on a trip to Great America as our pit stop / breakfast of the day. We randomly found this place online when looking for some where to eat. The restaurant is small, but it’s clean and the staff were friendly. It was slow and quiet when we came and our food came out pretty quick I would say. We all ordered different things and in general we enjoyed the food. I had gotten a country skillet that was potatoes, eggs, and country gravy. It was super filling! Other people in the group got French toast and a breakfast sandwich and they liked their choices. My coffee was ok, not very strong, and the hot chocolate also lacked flavor. If I was in the area I would come back and try some other things.

It's an ideal place for breakfast. I ordered an avocado toast with salmon and capers. I liked all the ingredients. It would be awesome if the avocado was applied evenly. The decaf latte was tasty as well. Thank you!
