Crema's Take

Sweet Spot is a charming Cape Coral destination that goes well beyond typical ice cream, featuring Yoders ice cream alongside house-made waffle cones, decadent crepes, and thoughtful touches like pup cups for your furry friends. The shop strikes a lovely balance between a quick grab spot and a place to linger, with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming whether you're stopping by solo or bringing visiting relatives. Just know that this beloved neighborhood gem can get busy, so patience might be part of the experience during peak times.

A strong pull from the sweet side of the Force, this place has. Stopped in for a two-scoop mission: mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream. Both were solid choices, but honest the Jedi must be—the cookies & cream stole the show. Creamy, well-balanced, and packed with cookie pieces, it clearly trained harder at the Temple. The mint chocolate chip was refreshing and smooth, a fine companion scoop, but the spotlight belonged elsewhere. The shop itself has a fun, welcoming vibe, and the staff were friendly and easygoing—quick to help and happy to make recommendations without rushing you through your decision (an important skill when the menu is strong). A great spot to cool down and treat yourself. Logged in the holocrons it is, for future dessert runs when the craving awakens.

Stopped in for an ice cream with my Aunt, who was visiting from out of town. First we had dinner at The Greek Spot, great food. Then at the Sweet Spot we had two very delicious ice creams. We spoke with the owner Tina, who made us feel very welcome and part of the family. We were both blessed by our visit and conversation with Tina and her crew Smitty and Dakota.

I’m done going to this place. It’s sad because of how convenient it is for me but the nothing changes no matter how many time I go. They are always understaffed and I’m sick of waiting 45 minutes for ice cream and my kids definitely don’t like waiting. You know Saturday nights are going to be busy so hire the right amount of staff, stop being cheap. Next thing was my milkshake tasted like it was mixed with water, not only did it have the water consistency but the taste was awful. Next because the owners own the restaurant next door the other employees like to hang out there and vape inside, or when you go to the outside seats of full of cigarette smokers. How disgusting the owners let this go on, exposing kids and families to the cancer causing smoke. I doubt the health department will do anything about the outside situation but they should be shut down for the vaping inside. Now let’s talk about how because they are short staffed the young kids working there never have time to clean the tables leaving it up to the customers. I don’t work there and I’m not getting paid to clean your tables and floors. Again, stop being cheap and hire someone to clean your restaurant. I could write another 2 pages of deficiencies but it won’t allow me!!!

What a lovely little place to get a sweet treat! They feature Yoders ice cream which is made with wholesome ingredients. Delicious crepes and my favorite handmade fresh waffle cones! The girls working there are pleasant and friendly. A most stop for a treat!
