Milagro Coffee Y Espresso
1733 E University Ave, Las Cruces, NM
Crema's Take
“Milagro is a genuinely espresso-focused spot in Las Cruces where baristas pull sweet, perfectly steamed shots that draw other coffee professionals in on their days off. The vibe is leisurely and welcoming for lingering with a laptop or book, though you'll want to settle in—waits can be long, but the quality coffee and reasonably priced food make the slow rhythm feel intentional rather than frustrating. Fair warning: the service can feel a bit rushed or dismissive at times, but when you get a well-made latte and friendly regular customers around you, it's easy to see why people keep coming back.”

Was excited to try this spot after my girlfriend referred! Cute shop. Ordered a plain bagel to go. I had to wait over half an hour to receive it. They missed my order and gave it out 2 separate time. Unacceptable, after my first impression.
the coffee and food are always great, especially for the price and I have no complaints about it. The wait is normally very long, but I personally don’t really mind it. That being said, almost every time I go the baristas are incredibly rude and act like I am ruining their day by coming in. I always try to be understanding and polite because I used to be a barista and I know how emotionally draining the job can be, but at some point I don’t think it’s fair to take that frustration out on customers. There have been multiple times where I have gone and the baristas make snide remarks to me, have spoken to me in an incredibly condescending manner, and have even rolled their eyes at me when I order. It really sucks because I always try to support local businesses as much as I can, but I don’t know how much longer I can keep coming back to Milagro with baristas that are that unpleasant working there.
Agree with a previous review. Food is great. Coffee is wonderful. The employees definitely give the feel they you are a burden to them. I love this place and I understand service can be frustrating especially after a long shift. But the person at the counter definitely let me know I was unwelcome. And I say this because the person directly after me was greeted with a smile, as a friend.
Wonderful coffee shop! I am a barista and I come here to read and study on my off days. The lattes are steamed perfectly and the espresso is sweet, and the teas taste fresh. The other customers are friendly as well, the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Lovely place.
Very nice lady in the drive thru but took a very long time and the absolute WORST vanilla and caramel latte I have ever had. No straw, in a hot cup not an iced latte cup. I am concerned for the girl because she said this is her favorite latte and it tasted like kerig coffee NOT espresso. Would not recommend if you like coffee
