What a happy discovery. When enjoying Hot Springs on February 25th we decided to try this establishment because the menu offered variety of light sounding dishes. The staff greeted us warmly and we found a table. It took a while to from the menu because there were so many good choices. I chose the Grilled Chicken Fajita Salad Bowl and I couldn't believe the explosion of flavor in my mouth. This was truly something I could not stop eating and finished the whole bowl. My sister in law ordered the Veggie Enchilada Casserole and enjoyed the same experience. I strongly recommend this sweet restaurant when you are in Hot Springs. We will definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes.

Food & staff are on point. Helpful & tasty! Turtle brownie was great! They have many baked goods to choose. i got their version of the Monte Cristo and it was good (always ♥️ when raspberry jam is included). Wife got four different salads and like then all (especially impressed with the cauliflower one). Cafe is a bit higher priced but was worth it. Would come back, so yes, recommend.

Cafe 1217 is a cozy little café serving soups, salads, and light lunch options. When you walk in to order at the counter, you’re greeted by a tempting display case filled with baked goods. The setup is casual and easy. Order at the counter, grab a glass and help yourself to drinks, and when your food is ready, they’ll call your name for pickup. I ordered the pot pie, which comes with a side salad, and couldn’t resist adding a slice of Italian cream cake. The cake was the standout. It was loaded with texture, plenty of nuts, and topped with a light, creamy icing that really hit the spot. Overall, a pleasant lunch stop with some strong dessert game. 🌆 1217 Malvern Ave. Suite B Hot Springs, AR 71901

Visited a few years ago and was super excited to come back. The front staff were very nice but I saw the kitchen staff get flustered at one of them when after 25 minutes I asked how much longer it’d be for my apple and Gouda sandwich. Had my pup waiting in my car so was trying to gauge if I needed to turn AC on for a bit. Anyways, this is what I ended up paying $20 for… cheese wasn’t even melted. My guess is they’re short staffed in the back. Bummer.

Wonderful cafe. I had salad and gouda apple grilled cheese. They have a great variety and everyone was happy. They also have prepared foods and sides you can get to go.
