Crema's Take
“Zorba's Cafe is a beloved neighborhood spot that bridges the gap between quick coffee run and leisurely meal, with regulars returning for years to enjoy both traditional Greek fare and thoughtfully crafted pastries in a surprisingly spacious, light-filled room. The service moves with impressive efficiency without sacrificing warmth, making it equally perfect for grabbing a specialty coffee before work or settling in with friends over lunch, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in details—from properly balanced dressings to accommodating dietary needs with genuine care.”

Came here for lunch with a group and we loved it. I had the Greek salad as is with added grilled chicken, and the dressing was spot on. Everyone else in our group enjoyed their entrees as well. It wasn’t too busy when we visited, and there’s plenty of indoor seating. We’ll definitely be back.
I have been coming to this place since 2012, and this place has been providing outstanding service, quality and flavor, o have tried the soups, the gyros, the vegetarian options and of course the baklava! Thank you Saul Bernardo and staff! You deserve a Michelin star, this is the Best Greek restaurant in the DMV. I don't need to try any other, love zorbas!
While visiting DC for a conference, I came across Zorba’s Cafe. What an amazing find! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was top notch. Being gluten free, I really appreciated the time that the employees talked to me about the steps that they take for their gluten free customers. Portions were perfect size, and this has been some of the best Greek food I have ever had! Thank you for making my trip amazing—this was the best food experience I had all week!
This place was suggested by a delightful local person who goes there every Thursday. From outside it looks like a small place but once you enter you see the high ceilings and the white walls with beautiful Greek photography and historical photos. It’s not cramped and feels airy. The way you order food is also nicely organized. You don’t have to wait to be served, so this made the place even more relaxing and interactive. Food was excellent. We had the souvlaki platter, the crispy zucchini, sample platter, and rosé with chilled glasses. The souvlaki was a special treat!
This restaurant is in such a lovely place. Two facts: The food was fantastic, and the service was impressively quick. However, they played some sad Greek music, which made the atmosphere feel a bit down. Back to the food, it was absolutely delicious. The portions were small, that make you order more, but it’s the kind of place where you truly enjoy the rich, authentic taste of Greek cuisine.
