Summer Moon Coffee (Mobile Moon)

Honestly love Summer Moon, particularly the Iced Matcha Moon is literally something I get almost every morning. I've not had the best of luck or experience with that at this location though so I have to ding them a bit for inconsistency. There have been numerous occasions where I get the incorrect drink, and a few occasions where the barista is just not feeling it that day and showing me 100% they'd rather be somewhere else. My last experience there was no smile or friendly service, there were no words at all (making it ridiculously awkward at the checkout/order spot or whatever) and when my drink was ready (and it was wrong) they didn't even call my name out to come pick it up. I didn't even think to take a sip before heading back home but when I did finally get to take a drink it was pretty gross and not what I was expecting. I will agree with one other reviewer the tacos here are not anywhere near the Taco Deli ones at the Slaughter Ln location, and since my last several visits were not that great I just take the extra few miles to drive there instead where I have never been greeted awkwardly, I'm always served with enthusiasm, and they never screw up my drink order while being obnoxiously silent in handling me as a customer. I may give this location another try someday, but it's going to be long, long time before that happens.

Honestly just really overpriced. Coffee is good enough, better than Starbucks but definitely not the best specialty coffee shop. Got a flavored latte today and wanted the 2 shots that come in the medium size but with less milk.. so they rang up a small with an extra shot, which cost MORE than a medium. So I paid more for less product? Before tip I paid $8.63 for a small latte. I come here once in a while because it’s cute and on my way to work but come on, coffee prices are getting ridiculous. I do think their coffee beans are pretty good, I like the black drip coffee for the rich flavor, and I like that it is organic. So I’ll give em that. Also, their bfast tacos are naaasty. So soggy that I was questioning if the tortilla was ever even cooked?! The pastries, including the pop tarts, are delicious though. However, those are made by other businesses ofcourse…

we stopped by and I ordered a strawberry refresher and my daughter ordered spiced chai latte and hers was soo strong so she went back and asked if they could add more milk and apparently it rubbed the barista wrong. she told her to take the lid off and took it then had her pick up at the window and slammed the window right after handing it to her. We like to try new coffee shops as part of our bonding experience and have had other shops fix our orders with apologies. I was very disappointed with the service of this one. My drink was TART but I just watered it down.

This coffee truck is amazing. The people are super friendly and know coffee. My personal favorite is a neat quad moon shaker. Perfect pick me up for those long afternoons and evenings. They do have places to sit and enjoy your coffee. Most people make it a stop on their walking route or while out walking their pups. They do have some t-shirts and food items available but we are hooked on the coffee. They do seasonal specials as well.

Great service and delicious coffee! I thought it was so unique having the phases of the moon as the amount of milk is in your coffee, so cute 🥹
