Crema's Take
“A beloved neighborhood institution that pairs genuinely warm service with fresh, quality donuts that sell out regularly—arrive early and you'll understand why regulars come back multiple times a month. The casual vibe at Roxbury Crossing invites you to linger with your coffee and pastry, whether you're grabbing a classic glazed or exploring their bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant, all at prices that feel fair for the Boston area. Mike's proves that the best coffee shops are about more than the drink itself: they're about that genuine kindness behind the counter and the satisfaction of a perfect breakfast done simply and well.”

I came in for my first time here, at just before 8 am, and immediately became the recipient of a kind, warm greeting, hot coffee, and a soft warm glazed donut. I can't think of a better way to start my day. What a wonderful first impression.
I requested a half dozen but paid for a dozen. The flavor was good, but the chocolate was very messy and coated the other donuts. This should have been fixed on the spot.
If you are fortunate enough to be in the boston area off a huntington avenue, I strongly encourage you visit mike's donuts. You will see in the picture. There aren't many donuts because they sell out so fast. They are absolutely delicious breakfast.Lunch and brunch?I always get the ham egg and cheese croissant. You can get it with a hash.Brown, a double espresso as well as a glazed.Donut they have drinks, seating area both outside and inside staff is friendly. And welcoming, it's a gorgeous ambiance, please go by and try it
Service was quick and prices were also really good considering the area. However the food wasn’t really sweet and it appeared that it may have been out too long during the later breakfast/lunch hour on a Sunday. Overall decent if you’re needing a quick bite but the food may not necessary be worth the effort of planning a visit or choosing to dine here.
I frequent Mike's 2-3x a month. Staff is quick and efficient behind the counter. I've always been a fan of the bacon, egg and cheese with a hash brown on a croissant but have recently enjoyed their donuts. Glazed or buttermilk are my go to but maple bacon was a fun mix up. Also tried the strawberry smoothie for the first time and loved it. (fyi it's big enough to share!) My only reason for 4 stars is because the egg isn't freshly cooked (similar to Dunkin egg) and the hash brown is too small for the croissant. I would just order a second hash brown but for an extra $1.75 it's not worth it. Would definitely recommend if you're in the area!
