Heine Brothers Coffee - Gardiner Lane Shopping Center

I wish I remembered her name, but a barista at Heine Brothers once gave me more than an iced coffee. Back in August, I was unemployed and waiting weeks for unemployment to come through, with no income and very little margin for small comforts. I stopped in thinking a coupon would cover an iced coffee, only to realize it didn’t. She gave it to me anyway. It was such a simple act, but on a heavy day it felt enormous. That cup of coffee became a quiet reminder that kindness still exists, often in the smallest, most unexpected ways. I carry that moment with me, and it’s one of the reasons Heine Brothers will always have my loyalty.

Heine Brothers has easily become my go-to coffee stop in Louisville. There’s always something interesting on the menu that catches my eye, and when I’m in the mood for home brew, they’re happy to grind a bag of my favorite roast just right. The vibe is welcoming, the staff is consistently friendly, and the fact that they’ll serve up a pup cup for our dog is the icing on the cake. Great coffee, great people, and a spot that feels like part of the community.

I come here quite frequently. It always had a lovely atmosphere, and the drinks are incredible. The staff is also kind, and considerate when dealing with allergies I haven't been able to try the food due to allergies but my friends love it, and the drinks I have had are great!

Terrible breakfast sandwich. I ordered sausage my hub got bacon. Both had squirt on meat mush. Suoer gross. $30 breakfast and n0w we need to go somewhere to get some more to eat.1 was too high but its the lowest available.

I thought the food was very expensive for what you got. The atmosphere was good. Service was good. Give it a try if there’s nothing in the area.
