Gatos and Beans

A huge THANK YOU to the staff of Gatos and Beans! We booked them for our friend’s 40th birthday, and they really went above and beyond for us! They called the day of, to let us know of the decorations they had provided and to see if there was anything else they could do to accommodate us. We were welcomed with generous hospitality, given kitty ears, and the best hot chocolate I’ve had in years! They brought out all the toys and various treats, and the cats of course were the stars of the show! Such loving little kitties full of personalities!! It was the perfect way to celebrate our laid back, kitty loving friend! I will certainly be back on my own to visit!! Thank you Gatos and Beans!

f you love cats, you must go! The person who walked us through the experience was so kind and cute—loved her! It’s $15 to go into the cat room, which helps keep the place open. It’s such a good thing for these cats to be able to socialize with each other and with people, and it also gives them a chance to be adopted. The cost is more than worth it. It even comes with a drink, unless you want something more special. My coffee was good—not Starbucks-level good, but I really enjoyed it. We live two hours away, but sometimes you just need a little escape, and what’s better than spending time with cats?

Amazing experience here!! The cats are wonderful and great customer service from the two ladies. We also got a little souvenir for christmas! We took home a polaroid little frame with one of the kitties! Make sure to spend some time and share some love with them!

Wonderful cafe 💜 We've been here a few times and have always enjoyed it. It's more of an adoption/play with cats cafe than a food/drink one but still is a great experience. The cats are well cared for and have lots of "break" spots. We'll be back 🐈‍⬛🐈

While with my family on way to Birmingham Airport we decided to stop for breakfast before catching our flights home. While driving around we spotted Gatos & Beans a quick Google of the business revealed it to be a Kitty Cafe. All of us are animal lovers so of course we stopped. We all hoped to get a bite to eat, a cup of coffee and play with some new furry friends. Gatos & Beans is a wonderful haven for cats. There is a well designed play area and for a small amount, which helps fund their Kitty Mission, you can play or simply observe the fur babies. Gatos & Beans has coffee drinks and a few snacks. The real draw is the wonderful kitties looking for a forever home. Because we wanted to eat one last time before heading our separate ways for home we had to pry ourselves out of the Cafe. Emily, the team member working was wonderful. She answered all our questions, told us the history of how Gatos & Beans came, and gave suggestions for an eatery, (Which was every bit as wonderful as she said)
