“Sugar Barrel's coffee and pastries are legitimately good, but inconsistent service and a reluctance to correct mistakes might frustrate you on an off day. The cake pops and sweet treats are worth ordering ahead for, and when the staff is attentive (like Nichole seems to be), it's a pleasant spot to linger. Given the small review count and mixed experiences, it's a gamble that could pay off if you catch them on a good day.”

Classic coffee drinks done right, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

Service was not great. No greeting when entering and one of us got a Jr. Scoop that was significantly less than the other Jr. Scoops. The attendant was unwilling to make it right. Virrey disappointing. However, they have a vegan ice cream option that was delicious.
