Heine Brothers Coffee - Omni Hotel
400 S 2nd St, Louisville, KY
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside the Omni Hotel with a hidden gem appeal, this Heine Brothers location offers a surprisingly upscale, clean retreat with industrial decor and curated music that feels more like a boutique escape than a typical hotel café. The espresso drinks shine here, though blended beverages seem to be an afterthought, and the cozy Fall City Market setting makes it perfect for a leisurely sit or meeting, assuming you can navigate the occasional service bottleneck during peak hours.”

I felt so out of place, it's so nice and clean inside. A little hard to find until you know, it's actually inside. No exterior signs for it. But it's basically a mini market inside the Omni, that includes places to eat plus baked goods and coffee. Service was crazy quick too. Literally stood waiting for our drinks for about 30 seconds. And then sat a a booth away from everyone. Music was a little loud, but it definitely makes it where you can't hear other people's conversation but you can still talk over it. I caught myself talking a little loud but I was excited too. Overall, great place for a quick bite and cup of coffee. Super happy. Hard to find parking though
Props for being open, when no one else is, but man, when it is busy, the line can be super long and slow. The two girls behind the counter were overwhelmed, and the coffee wasn’t that good, but hey can’t complain there was no other option! Came here twice, Saturday and Sunday morning. The space is really nice but just too many people and loud. If you don’t mind crowds and noise you’ll love this spot.
I can only speak to the blended drinks (iceberg). I love a blended drink if a coffee shop has one, which is rare. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend the blended drinks here. I paid extra to have an additional shot of espresso added to the white mocha iceberg. Even with that, it had zero flavor of coffee. It was straight sugar and I can’t even say it had a white mocha flavor. It’s a bummer the drink was so bad because the service was great and the shop area is very cute. Maybe their other drinks are good but again, I can’t in good conscience recommend it.
Heine review I highly recommend this Heine location . First of all: They are in side the Fall city market which is cozy, clean, the environment it’s really nice and the play good music. Second: Heine Brothers stuff are really professional, kind, helpful and respectful. The hot coffees and teas are served at the right temperature, they are flavorful and have jus the right sweet amount. Last but not least: they are kids and pet friendly 😁❤️
Heine Brothers Coffee was a unique and cool coffee shop. Located inside the hotel on the corner of liberty it is defiant an up scale environment as you can tell by the pictures. The decor is industrial and edgy. The coffee was great quality. The place was very busy the baristas were quick, pleasant, and made good coffee. This would be a great place to work if you were staying at the hotel, or a place to stop in on the go, but is not a go and hang out or get something very unique kind of coffee shop. This doesn’t make it bad in any way, just their target audience. There are also multiple shops and food places around the coffee shop if you are looking to grab breakfast or lunch at the same time.
