Saxbys Liberty Place
1625 Chestnut St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“Tucked beneath a striking staircase at Liberty Place, this Saxbys has built a devoted following for its charming, intimate setting and genuinely friendly staff who seem to genuinely care about getting your order right. While the espresso work can be inconsistent—some customers rave about the drinks while others find the ratios off—the location itself and the team's warmth make it a solid choice for a quick coffee meeting or breakfast in Center City. The cozy, clean space works beautifully for a grab-and-go visit or lingering with your laptop, though you might want to arrive early or order ahead to catch them at their best.”

Visited in Autumn 2024 for a coffee to go. The Flat White was way too milky and flavourless of coffee. The milk/coffee ratio was out of proportion making the drink unpleasant. Average price point of $5 with tax for a drink to go. Limited seating options available in front of the shop; however additional seating is available upstairs in the food court. I would not recommend or revisit.

This SAXBY's has poor service, poor sandwiches, and no condiments. I was very disappointed! I hope in the future that their staff will do better!
Workers friendly and good service, tiny but clean and beautiful place. Good drinks!
