Copper Mug Coffee
131 N 4th St, Brooklyn, NY
Crema's Take
“Copper Mug Coffee feels like the neighborhood gem that doesn't need to shout about itself—reviewers keep coming back for the creative signature drinks (that iced lavender latte!) and the genuinely friendly vibe that makes it perfect for lingering over breakfast. Their house-made pastries, especially the legendary banana Nutella bread, and hearty breakfast burritos elevate it beyond your standard coffee shop, while the relaxed atmosphere and quality specialty lattes create a space where you'll actually want to stay and meet friends rather than rush out.”

A really nice cafe, it fits perfectly into the neighborhood. Very friendly service, this place has something special about it; it's seemingly just an ordinary coffee shop, yet there's something about it that makes me feel happy... The coffee is very good, unfortunately I didn't try the pastries. I highly recommend it.
Stopped by because I needed to use up my ClassPass credits … what a treat and awesome find! I ordered the iced lavender latte and breakfast burrito. Both delicious. Dear owner, as a mug lover, put this design on mugs for purchase. I know I’m not the only one who would buy it. I’ll be taking this plastic one and reusing it at home because it’s so cute. Overall, props to this spot for participating in classpass, being delicious, and a lovely environment for a meet up or getting some work done. I’ll definitely be back with or without classpass credits.
The banana Nutella bread is unreal!!! Totally lives up to the reviews I read on here. The breakfast burrito is also delicious, cheesy, and filling, but that bread is its own tasty little beast. This is an adorable spot to grab a table and meet with a friend, and the owner is thoughtful, checking in and making sure you’re happy with what you’ve got. Recommend to anyone strolling Williamsburg. 5 stars!!!
Got the matcha with lavender. Small cup, lavender very bitter, not sweet at all. Did not enjoy the drink and throw away the half Also rating is probably high because they are offering food for review .
Nice spot to chill with a cup of flavored lattes. Stopped in early on a Sunday morning for some lattes. It’s not one of the trendy Brooklyn cafés, but the sign out front advertising specialty drinks pulled me in. With the doors propped open, the tables by the entrance felt like a pseudo-patio (an easy place to hang for a bit). Got their signature lavender latte and the taro matcha latte, and both were decent. I had a lavender lemonade nearby last week that really worked, so I thought this would too. Instead, the scent was faint, and without sweetness or fizz, the finish leaned soapy. As for the taro matcha latte, this combo made sense on paper. Two subtle flavors balancing each other out. But even a few pumps of taro syrup tipped the drink into full-on taro milk mode. Tried real hard to taste the matcha, but it was almost completely lost. Still, it’s one of the larger cafés around, and for Brooklyn that makes it a useful spot if you just need space to relax. Might duck in again if I’m in the area.
