Crema's Take

Tucked inside the Pendulum building, Pratt & Perk is a hotel café that punches well above its weight, earning genuine affection from both regular morning visitors and conference guests. The real draw here is the warmth of the staff—whether it's Chef Northan Hale's infectious energy behind breakfast dishes like exceptional omelets or servers like Ben and Derell who go out of their way to make every guest feel genuinely seen and cared for. If you're looking for solid espresso drinks in a welcoming spot where the people matter as much as the coffee, this is a neighborhood gem that happens to serve excellent food too.

I come here every morning for breakfast for a week as I work the CIAA tournament. Chef Northan Hale is absolutely amazing! The best omelets as well as service. He is always in a great mood and makes the starts to my days great! - Miss Zee

I was here for a conference and dined here since it was in my hotel. I had the creamy shrimp flatbread. It was good and did not disappoint. It came quickly and hot of of the oven.

I had the absolute best experience thanks to Ben, our server. He was incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely accommodating from start to finish. It is rare to encounter someone who makes you feel so taken care of, and Ben went above and beyond in every way. Because of his outstanding service, I will now be staying at this Hilton every time I am in town and coming back to this restaurant without question. Ben is a true gem and made my visit unforgettable. Highly recommend!

Well after our long trip we decided to give this a try since we are staying at the Hilton based on the positive google restaurant reviews….. maybe it depends on the day, this was Friday evening…. There was one waiter taking care of the whole restaurant it seemed, not his fault he was a nice guy, but the service was terrible…. But i can forgive this, people call in etc…. But for $100 for my wife and I with no drinks, we ordered two appetizers and two dinners thats it, now IF the food was full of flavor and high end , I’m good with the price tag…. This was not the case, the wings which were no better than dominos were $18 for FIVE wings FIVE wings are you serious?!! Then the pretzels were not as good as a Sams Club pretzel. The flounder was okay but three bites, the crab Mac and cheese had no flavor at all, so boring. We were not satisfied at all, so maybe the dessert would redeem, a different waitress came by to ask if we wanted dessert, my wife asked for the menu…. By the time she came back 15 minutes later with the menu, we were done and wanted to leave...After that for the first time a guy asked if we wanted a refill on our water 45 minutes later smh…then i had to flag down our waiter for the bill…… bottom line, we should have just hit the jimmy johns or chipotle for a third of the price at least we know what we get there. Very disappointed, been to many Hilton restaurants and this was the most mediocre by a mile.

I don't know why the negative reviews but I'm a true-to-the-heart Google reviewer. I came here with my kids. Derell was our waiter. He was attentive to my son's needs. My son is on the spectrum and Darrell understood that. My son always has to have a glass of water with no ice and Derell made that happen. The other man who appeared to be Spanish kept my son's glass full at all times. He kept smiling as he filled my son's glass. A very kind gentleman. Between myself and my two kids, we ordered the Marhgerita (sp?) pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the hamburger. My daughter also ordered the apple pie. I ordered the lemon drop martini drinks. I don't have one complaint whatsoever. The food tasted so good. The drinks were tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant as we sat near the window and enjoyed people watching. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who is staying at the Hilton and in need of a great meal with drinks.
